im going to start my 5v5 team it will be of theese 5 classes

a DK tank to get the spellpower buff and good resistance against magic

a Boomkin druid to get the 12 % dmg buff and boomkin aura

a arcane mage mostly for water and portals

a Elemental Shammy to get spellpower totem and wrath totem mainly and can also help out with the healing when i need heay healing

a holy priest as dedicated healer since IMO they are the best healers with lots of utility

so what do you think about this setup? will it work ?

Most any setup will work, once you master it. Your's looks nice though. I have one very similar that most of the pieces are around 46 with RAF. The only thing I might change is the mage spec. I think arcane got hit with the nerf stick Tuesday and I have favored Frost for a long time. It's easier, for me, to spam DPS with frost.

That set up will work. However, If you want a powerful group to clear heroics than doing DK+4 Ele shams is easier/better for a number of reasons discussed in many other threads here. If your wanting the different classes and don't mind the extra challenge that brings, great! Your team will be fine.

For a DK and 4 Shams you get the power of all those totems, the 4xself battle rez, the simplicity of 4 of the same class for ease operation, AND If you spec your DK unholy tank for ebon plague bringer talent, you do not need the boomkin, as it provides the 13% spell buff. The moonkin aura does not stack with elemental oath.

I'd suggest using:

to calculate the best match of buffs, debuffs, etc.

If you go arcane mage your going to miss out on your dps increase for the arcane missle proc. I would just go frost so you dont have to watch for procs. If you really are set on arcane you can dps and forget about the imp arcane missles. It would be like doing FFB and forgetting about hotstreaks. A mixed group is better. Just make sure you get it down to a few buttons to spam. Having to micro manage every classes dps sucks. cast sequence and cast randoms are your friend.

Earth and Moon does not stack with Ebon Plaguebringer (or Curse of Elements, these are in a common non-stacking debuff group). Ebon Plaguebringer is quite a bit better group effect from a practical perspective on trash pulls, since as a disease it will spread to nearby mobs and amplify AoE damage, while Earth and Moon will generally only affect the current targeted mob/boss.

A boomkin still brings solid dps and utility which you wouldn't get from a 4 shammy+tank team such as improved fairie fire, G/MOTW, and Insect Swarm (boss hit debuff).

That being said, I have two boomkins just sitting around at level 80 doing nothing while I run my DK + 4 shammies through heroics; I just find the simplicity of this setup very appealing and I love 4x healing stream/4x mana spring totems. As others have point out, to maximize DPS as a mage or boomkin requires altering casting in response to procs, which just isn't going to happen for a multiboxer. Shamans don't have any such proc-based spell rotation changes.
