I have been boxing for ages all the way back to eq1, and up to wow now. Currently im using a 5 comp setup and i have a question regarding sound. I remember reading a bout a eq2 boxer a while back an if i remember correctly their is a piece of equipment that u can send all your sound sources from each comp to,an it like combines or does soemthing so that u get the sounds from each comp with out having multiple sets of speakers. Anyone have any idea what im talking bout or what the item im refering to might be.

5 wow sound sources mixed through a desk would be a nightmare on the ears.
you would be far better turing off the sound on all your slaves and just enabling it on your main.
if you did that you would probably gain some FPS just by having the sound off. you would still be able to hear if your slaves where getting attacked, as thay would be close to your main character

I daisy chained my systems sound from their output to the next systems aux in till they all got to my main box that went to my sound system. Worked great for non wow stuff. Could hear sounds from any system, videos etc. But playing wow... Uhgg that was a nightmare even just having one guy hit a mining node sent 5x pick ax noises out of the speakers. AOE mass killing spells going off death crys etc 5x over.... The ears, they bleed.
