I might find it easier to sympathise with locks if they hadn't dominated PvP completely for 3 years though.

Glad i played my lock trought the golden times.. From the day death coil was given to us and i stopped after S1 in tbc!
Locks seems to actually get viable even without speccing 51 points into demo wich is a big plus to the fun factor! Beeing SL/SL just feels so crap, sure you can survive forever but the damage output makes you cry inside yourself.

My locks will be 70 tonight so i get SoC. Curious, are you spec'd demonology? I played a single lock before and was spec'd affliction and am curious about trying that out again. 5 succys should be pretty good in pvp i think.

Actually, I'm only lvl 65 still. I have kinda a wierd hybrid demo/afflic build rt now. I keep getting camped by lvl 80s, so i'm going to be instance grinding for a bit, and want to make it easiest to do that. I'm going afflic to siphon life, and demo to fel synergy for the pet heals. I'm using the voidwalker as they have 13K hp at my level and can tank very well in the instances with the demonic brutality talent. When I hit 70, I'll choose a final spec and go from there. But as it is, I've killed a few 78+ people that chose to mess with me. They probably thought i was a bot, cause when I notice someone watching me, I'll generally wait to act till after they do. I killed an 80 arcane mage yesterday(GASP!!!) with like 200 hp left on all my chars of course he dint use wotf, or ice block, or trinket, or anything else that would have helped him, but it still felt good to come out on top.
Here is my current spec:

Well the pet HP buff helped, felpuppy has around 18K now for me (gained about 6-7K... my warlock is just shy of 24K HP) so they live a bit longer for sure. But without resilience they still die fast, much faster than hunter pets or even ghouls it seems. They seem to get CC or kite / los easier than in the past... especially Turn Evil which is a rigged skill IMO and Paladins are something like 25-30% of arena teams right now (lol). Definitely on the up and up for Warlocks though; I'm excited about 3.0.9 and 3.1 changes and hope they bring some balance.

LOL! SO TRUE!!! I hope patch 3.1 changes that. ****CROSSES FINGERS**** Can Locks finally come back from the dusty shelves of DPS mediocrity?
My Lock is shelved in Dalaran drunk and lonely til that patch day comes.
