Good evening all,

in a slight diliema at the moment, looking around at current multi grahphics card and monitor setups and would like to know if anyone has had any success running the new 4850x2. What I was thinking was powering 3x 22" do you think this card will be enough??? I noticed with the 4850x2 has 4xDVI which seem extremely useful for boxers. The layout will be main in the middle with 1 on each side vertical.

running 2.4ghz Quadcore, 4gb ram and hopefully 4850x2 what ya think?

This is sort of related and sort of not, but I've got an HD 4870X2 and I've been extremely happy with the card since I got it.

The reason it's sort of not related (aside from being a different model) is that I play 4 accounts and just use one monitor. I plan on upgrading my setup significantly in the coming months, but haven't been able to yet. I run a Phenom quad-core processor @ 2.6 and have 8 gigs of ram.

I have the card and its great. You can run 4 monitors with it. When you play normal games without multiboxing you can select crossfire in the ati control panel for really great fps on shooters. I am very happy with the card.

The card rocks, and as an added bonus it will save you on your winter heating bills. The thing puts out some serious heat.

I have the cooler master HAF case and I can only feel heat if I put my hand over the back of my case. That HAF case has mega fans so it cools it down pretty good. Overall I am very happy with that card. Running 4 LCD with 1 video card is amazing.

Check out my thread here: Tri-screen Setup. Need advice. ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=18963')

Someone posted some framerates using large monitors.
