Ok i finally borke down at 77 almost 78 and got my glyphs for all my dks. Currently i am specd 41 in blood and 27 in unholy. So got the glyph of rune tap omfg what was i doing without it. Its an amazing little thing. I went against something with 250k hp and was hitting it notice i was getting low so popped in mark of blood and vampiric blood then rune tap. Was thinking maybe 5-6k heal so i almost shit myself when i saw all combine over 17k heal. I was like wow why do i need a healer now lol. I have gift of the naaru for back up hot and death knight blood healing and now this oh shit save me heal. Im wondering is there anything else we can do to make our heals from death strike heal more now other then using vamp blood.

Mark of blood is nice. Death strike glyph is nice (it reads 2% before glyphed, after it reads 2% per 5 runic power). GotN is nice (you already said, but it MIGHT get boosted by vampiric blood). If you get fancy, you can lichborne (yeah, down frost tree) and it makes you undead, so death coil heals you. Rune tap and glyph for it is the big part. I death strike as the 2nd part. Blood aura stacks. It just adds up to a LOT of healing. Hence why people have 5 DKs.

when you do heroic instances all DK, lemme know =)
I have currently hit a wall at Halls of Lightning, every goddamn boss in here punishes you for "stacking" so Im kinda at a loss what to do. I managed to kill the 2nd boss though as the first is skippable. Oh and I run with one healer, lol.
edit: wow I just realized something looking at my current wipe, I forgot that bosses can crush you if >3 levels below. Woops no wonder Generals Whirlwind was almost insta-killing my group. Guess I better get a level and come back.

So far only time i hit a wall is when i make a retard pull and pull more then 4-5 elites if i pull 6 i am normally left with 1-2 alive when i die lol.

General in halls of lightning can be cake or very very hard. If he goes battle stance, guarantee you that a DK will die in about 5-10secs based on how many attacks actually hit. If our heal is once every 30, ya it wont work. Beserker stance is great because he hits really fast, so all you do is drop Mark of Blood on him and you are full health for most of it. I dunno I got both his adds down (who heal him) and luckily he stayed defensive stance the whole time. However once I switched to him he went battle stance and my tank was taking damage so fast that 3 lifeblooms, rejuvenation, regrowth heal over time and spamming Healing Touch when I could.. didnt keep him alive. Now my tank isnt the greatest, he's only 79, but I figure that much healing I should be ok. Of course during this time he is Whirlwinding which east your slaves up and you might have to waste Rune tap to heal them when tank might be full. I imagine once they are all 80 and good stuff it will be cake. However on heroic, I bet this guy can be punishing for an all melee group.

I tried out my DK's today going Blood and did a Halls of Lightning run, blood is definitely nice, and my dps was pretty solid - aoe sucked for anything more than 2 mobs, but this spec will definitely not work in PvP. I want to give unholy another shot but I think Frost is the only way to go for PvP since your able to be so mobile with ranged attacks.

Your Dks are 80 right? How did General go? It seemed he put out way too much damage, but my tank was only 79. The third boss was actually EASIER once my alts died. I tanked him from 50% to 20ish and the only reason I died was I didnt dodge a lightning ball on my druid and he went down. Seemed like I could do 100 to 0 with only the tank (take a damn long time too.) Druid didnt use mana very much.
