I'm no longer an active multiboxer or WoW player, but when I used to box I shelled out the full $50 for multiplicity. I found it easy to configure and use; it solved a lot of lag problems that some of the other kbd/mouse sharing apps had for me.
Anyhow, you can get Multiplicity Pro for $13.99 this weekend through Stardock's Impulse service. http://www.impulsedriven.com/mpp

One warning to boxers who use Ventrilo - Multiplicty + Ventrilo = Broken Push To Talk
I've opened tickets with both sides on this and both point the finger at the other - after over 40 hours of trying to get support I gave up.

Same here, mine works fine. This program is a steal for $14 too. I love it.

Can I use this program for two PC's and only share the mouse and keyboard to run Everquest, but also have an n52 on each computer that runs seperately from multiplicity? Like, each n52's (probably gonna be 2 G13') keep working at all times for the computer they are hooked up to, but the mouse and keyboard works for both PC's depending where the cursor is?

Same here, mine works fine. This program is a steal for $14 too. I love it. I haven't used it in about a year, the problem was always consistant between two Win XP boxes, it would work for a while and then PTT would stop working. Restart vent and it's back functional every time. I tried using the keyboard for PTT as well as the mouse and no matter what config I ran, it just stopped after a random amount of time.
well, after finding this post figured... why not, I need a new one anyway.
I currently use keyclone and octopus.
Octopus, clunky for what I need does not work on macs (I have one for non-wow stuff) and will not work in conjunction with synergy.
Synergy, spins ya like a top in wow.
Well, I tried it, after figuring out that I actually need to install impulse on each machine and install multiplicity through that. :/
It works really well. Easy to set up, it says it has OS X support comming, which is great, and for now, it works seamlessly with synergy.
So I have it set up like this.
Slave Mp (XP No KB)<-> Master Mp (XP w/KB)<-> Slave Mp and Master Synergy (XP No KB)<-> Slave Synergy (OS X no KB)
This seems to work perfectly and to me, well worth the $15

I am currently running Synergy, but don't really take advantage of it much. I use my second mouse and keyboard when required.
However, if the crazy spinning wasn't there I might actually take advantage of it more. So, just to clarify. With Multiplicity, I would actually be able move my slave toons around with my main mouse instead of them going all "Tasmanian devil-like"??

I can drive my other toons with no problem. With Synergy the mouse went nuts when trying to move in wow on the second screen.

I have been using Multiplicity and Vent without any issues.
One conflict I did have was with X-Keys USB. Right after I installed the software for X-keys my computer would lock up. I opened a ticket with X-keys they said that they would look into it. The fix was to put my X-keys USB into hardware mode and to uninstall the software package.

Been using Multiplicity for over a year now with EQ2 and vista (64 & 32) - works no worries
In the beginning, and on the 'odd' occasion, it did send a char spinning but I found that was 'operator error' more than the software - i.e., I clicked the title bar of an open app and not 'on screen' when I was in a clicking frenzy
If you ever do get a char sent into a death spiral - just click once on the apps title bar and all will settle down (works for me but haven't had to do that since I first got the application)
Very good app to have and a very nice price tbh

Went ahead and got two of these, since one purchase of pro "only" gives you access to using seven computers in the set-up , 1 primary and 6 secondary. Not sure if that means I only get to hook up 13 or 14 since I only want one primary. After alot of headaches of secondary computers not hooking up, scroll wheels not working and a couple other things, I got all 10 computers working with MP and love it. I had one final problem and that is MP, on my primary computer locks up within Everquest. I can move the mouse all around my primary computer with EQ running, but cannot control it (EQ does not crash, it is running fine...I just can't control it). The only thing to get out of it is to ctrl, alt, dlt and exit EQ, then restart...only to have it happen again shortly after. Have tried playing primary computer with EQ in windows only and that seemed to work better, but when I was logging off and shutting down other computers, once again I lost control on my primary computer of EQ (everything outside of EQ works fine). It works great except for this and unfortunately, this is a show stopper. Anyone have any ideas? Forums for MP itself seems pretty useless. The only work around I can think of is to make my computer I use only for surfing be the primary, but that would mean hooking my keyboard/mouse to it and always having it on as well as my main computer......which is not ideal.
I just got Multiplicity and am having a strange bug:
It ignores my "Left Handed" mouse setup on the slaves. I happen to be a leftie, and I normally have the "Switch Primary mouse button" checked in control panel.
Synergy handled this fine, but the spinning was driving me nuts. Guess I will learn to click backwards.
