Hi, im new to this forum and im hoping that i will get good support here (Bet i will).
Im using Keyclone and my laptop. I have a LCD screen to have one character on (Im just trying to multibox with two characters for now).
So, my question is, when i create two characters, and start playing, the second character wont do the same mousemovement as my main.
Doesnt keyclone work with mousemovement?
Hopefully someone got a answer to this.

Keyclone has a toggle for mouse clicking/broadcasting, but it doesn't clone the mouse to both windows for movement.
The broadcast makes each window go into focus, so you would lose focus on one when you did it.
I bet Keyclone could explain it better than me though. :P

no. keyclone does not have mouse movement.
it does, however, have a form of mouseclicking. but it does not move both mouse pointers at once. you will have to do this manually, or use other software.

Which has a chance of getting you banned if it simulates mouse movement by using coordinate-based actions. (Even if the writer of the software says they have Blizzard's approval.) Since Blizzard doesn't "approve" 3rd party programs - it only defines what actions are allowed outside the game - the only safe method for mouse cloning is true hardware boxing.

Oh, ok, thank you :) Any idea what software i can use ? because what im after is to move both pointers at the same time, without switching between windows :P

look up the wiki for HKN or AHK or IS.
and silencer, thanks for the word of caution.

You can also try innerspace ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=15769'), but it's not all that user friendly yet. /nudge for ISboxer. :whistling:

Bah, now i've read a little bit about them, and they all require scripting, i can say that im not good with scripting. And i have NO clue at all on how to script so my mousemovement works with both windows at the same time. And i have bought keyclone, i just need a software that makes it able for me to use mousemovement on both windows ;p

I don't think that mouse movement cloning for purposes of turning all chars at the same time would get you into trouble. I know that's a personal evaluation of Blizzard's purposely vague rules, but evething I have read says that you should only get in trouble when you start trying to do stuff beyond what a singleboxer can do with the ingame controls. I don't see any reason why software cloning of mouse movements should be a TOS violation when multicast keyboard turning and hardware mouse cloning are ok.
My 2 cents. Take it fwiw (not much).

the real point here is that even if you got what you are asking, click-drag on one window doing the same on the others, you would not get the effect you are looking for. the reason is that the point of view (POV) does not match on every window... sometimes it can be close, but most times it gets WAY out of whack (ie: fear)
the best solution would be to get use to using /follow to pull your alts around and set up yor macros to target properly. if there is something that you would like to match across, like using the flight master, talents, or setting up macros, the mouse-click-passing in keyclone works fine for that. if you need an aoe target'd... it can do it, but you will not target the same spot.. for the reasons listed above.
i hope that makes sense.

Well, i have AHK now, and i have the script made by -silencer-. Now, if i use AHK, would i need keyclone ?

if you have keyclone, you don't need AHK.
if you are using AHK, talk to AHK support about whether or not you need keyclone

i hope that makes sense.yea i thought about this problem also when i started multiboxing. after a while i figured /follow would be a simpler solution to click-drag on all my toons. this results in a little bit less control but something i can easily work around.

Haha :p Thats what i found out yesterday :p and i set up some basic macros like; /follow, /invite nametarget. And that works neaty for me ;p But it is abit annoying to pick up quests with two characters ;p

Honestly I don'T even know if IS,AHK and HKN can realy do mouse-movement-broadcasting.
I'm pretty sure that HKN can't realy do it, because you need a trigger to do an action, and triggers are only keys, not an event like 'the mouse has moved'.
What you could do in HKN is incorporate a mouse-position broadcast in every key you broadcast, but honestly I don't know what use this would be...
