My good friends of about 15 years started going to PAX a couple years ago. Now they're talking about making it our annual get-together (since high school we've spread all over the world).

How many of you have attended PAX and plan on going this year? What's it like? My girlfriend is extremely opposed to spending vacation time at a gaming convention, but I may go there w/o her (I've never been).

omg you're planning early!

no my gf would kill me if i use vacation time to go to a gaming convention too. i'll stick to snowboarding or vegas.

We all grew up in Colorado so I suggested a ski condo during the week of Thanksgiving. I was promptly voted down with PAX being the clear winner.

The g/f would have been very happy with a ski condo... instead I get to have a fight. Joy :thumbup:

I'll actually go to PAX this year. Timing was bad for me last year. I literally live one block from the convention center, so it's rather convienent. If there are enough people from the forums going, we should do something similar to BlizzCon and plan a dinner/meet.
