I 5 box, and recently upgraded to an i7 processor, of which WoW sees 8 cores.
How should I set the "ProcessorAffinityMask" in the config.wtf?
Im looking to make the main run on 1-2 cores, and the rest having a core each.
Or can keyclone set this and make it permanent?

no offense but try to use the search option from time to time ;)
a quick search and i came up with this:
http://dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=17526&pageNo=1&highlight=i7+affinity ('http://dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=17526&pageNo=1&highlight=i7+affinity')
loads of great info in there.
hope this helps! ^_^

Man even reading that i feel dumber then ever. Ok with a duo core can i split my 5 wows between the two like main and slave one on one and the other slaves on the other one. If so how do i go about doing this. Ive seen the affinity on keyclone but not sure how about to go thru with this. Any help setting this up would be great. From what every stated in that link above was positive about performance. Thanks again.

~YYFFollow the first link in the thread linked in this thread. ( kinda confusing I know haha )
It shows a chart, which Ive seen before... but the chart only works for 1-4 core processors, or at least I thought.
I found out by reading more of that WoW forum thread, that setting the number to 255, enables all 8 cores to be selected and used by Windows/WoW.
But for you, the chart posted in the link will show you what you have to set each config.wtf too to get what you want.

I'll summarize the thread. It showed that you should set each WoW to run on all cores. That means 255 for each WoW on i7.
Later on, Turbonapkin (who did a lot of the testing in that thread) did more testing and fine-tuned that recommendation and changed it slightly.

~YYFi couldn't seem to find anything on dual core affinity's but from what i read on a dual core it shouldn't produce any benefit from setting the affinity the way you want to. i am not positive and i haven't tested it but from the 10+ post i glanced over none of them said that you would see much, if any, improvement from setting the affinity. you might be able to do better but i couldn't find anything. sorry =/
i did however find this post, http://dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=39572&highlight=#post39572 (ignore the high lights, they are just from the search :P), it has some nice info on regular quad core affinity masks. might be of use to somebody out there.

I posted some extra theory on this a couple of weeks ago which might help:

I tried running wow on all 4 cores of my quad processor. What I found is that in Dalaran or WG you will max your CPU and lag to hell. I ended up changing each wow instance to run on 1 core and it runs 100x better. I run 4 instances of wow on 1 pc, and 1 instance on another.

I haven't been multiboxing long, but I am running 4 accounts on my laptop which has a dual core 2.5 running at 800mhz and an Nvidia Geforce 9500M GS with 4gigs of ram on Vista 64bit. I use keyclone and set the affinity to main and slave 1 on core 0 and slaves 2 and 3 on core 1. I did notice the cpu usage went down using the task manager with all four up. I tried to run them all with the maximizer with all kinds of settings and found the best one was to max the screens out on all to 920x1050 (allows me to see and use the taskbar) I then minimize any window I'm not using as the main focus to lessen the strain on the video card and it works. Helps to set the ingame camera to look at the ground will all settings set to minimum on all slaves. If you are looking up at the sky on any slaves, it will slow down. My main account is the only one I have set the settings up on high on, but may lower for better fps. Makes sure you turn off the Specular Lighting and Full Screen Glow Effect and turn down the Shadow Quality to low if you are seeing a drag in your fps. These cause a massive strain no matter where you are. Dalaran was the worst for me. Still is actually, so I only go there with one toon at a time. The link to my laptop is below. I got it from Newegg.com, but now they are no longer offering these.

Oh yea. One more note. Multiboxing on the go freakin ROCKS! ;D

Freddie i took your advice and instead of having wows on seperate affinities i put all 5 on both not sure if thats gonna kill my cpu. Although , doing this i have noticed about a 20 percent drop in cpu usage. When i hade 2 on affinity 1 and 3 on affinity 2 i saw a 2 percent change. When i set all 5 wows on affinity 1 and 2 the usage dropped havent tested in dalaran yet but everywhere else it worked. Since im only using a dual core i guess having 80 percent usage isnt to bad.

keyclone GUI only lets you set affinity to one CPU and works good.
but you can manually set the affinity to include multiple cores
edit the keyclone.ini file and find the CPU line
1000000 is no setting and this is a hex number ( each bit in a binary number represents a core starting with bit 0 with a max of 32 cores )
0000001 assigns core 1
0000002 assigns core 2
0000003 assigns cores 1 & 2
0000004 assigns core 3
0000008 assigns core 4
000000c assigns core 3 & 4
0000006 would be cores 2&3
0000009 would be cores 1&4 etc.
000000f assigns cores 1,2,3,4
if you have 8 cores move up to the next digit
0000010 assigns core 5
0000020 assigns core 6
0000030 assigns cores 5 & 6
etc.
The only problem is if you edit your settings in keyclone it will probably reset these values and you will have to manually edit them again.
