I've just spent most of my fortune getting my 5 shammies to an Apprentice riding skill... and realised even if I can reach exalted by 60 with Org it's going to cost me around 2900G to put everyone on epic land mounts which seems a bit absurd. I know between 60-70 Outland quests can give you lots of gold.. but have any of you already past lvl 60 able to get this much around lvl 60? I have a 70 rogue but would rather spend time leveling than farming

By the time you are 60 you can do SM runs in 2 min and net about 30-40g depending on shards and the like. Loot, Reset, Run again. Sell Silk/Mageweave another 30g+ every 5 runs. You will have your epic mounts before you reach 61, and for 3000 g you are looking at 100 runs, built in with running out and reseting 5.6hrs of farming and you will have your gold. Easy as pie.

I wouldn't worry about it. I was able to fund my mounts from my other characters, but you don't have to do that.
You'll make 1200g + per character from 60-70, so that will certainly pay for your land mounts. You may have to go a few levels (maybe till like 63?) before getting your epics, but that's not so bad. At 70 I recommend farming instances for Fel Tomes and what not for extra cash. That + Daily Quests and you should have your fliers shortly after reaching 70.

On my groups that have had to buy their mounts, they have all been on epic land mounts at around 63/64. The priest+locks group was easiest and I got those at 60 as they only cost me about 250g by having a guildie run me through the DM run.

Only running two and generally looking for fast XP for the lower an cash to fund my craft addiction... But I have been running SM (all but GY several times at once and selling through a Repair Bot (main is high end engineer) I run Lib, then arms then cath before I reset and I tend to use one bot every hour or so. I do tend to sell everything including loot but mainly as there is only so many of any one BoE/BoP you could actually want, and the DEd value to a vendor is usually higher than the actual sell price. :?

Killing all the mobs may only take 5 - 10 minutes in Cath, but looting is going to take another 10+, unless you have someone driving a stand alone character playing loot-whore. :)

Use 1 mouse linked to all 5 CPUs (you are hardware boxing, right?), kill in the same spot, right click like mad. Each click in theory = 5 loots. In practice less bc of simu loots. There is some evidence you can do this in software too but not as well (yet).

I did this occasionally, but it usually failed because of the position of the damn loot window and how right-clicking an item works, plus the whole problem with "You cannot use that item" errors. I just mouse across (using multiplicity/synergy) and right-click each one. Takes less time than using 5 mice. :P

Just do the quests in outlands at 58, you should have enough between your characters to get the mounts by 60, or worst case scenario, 61 or 62.

When you have already chars on 70, just make the Daylie quests...

I have already a 70 druide and 70 warrior on 2 accounts and doing at the moment everyday 16 dayli quests at the same time 8)
10 with the druid = ~130gold (some netherwing brings 18g)
6 with the warrior = ~72 gold
plus the gold from killing the mobs during the dayli quests makes overall round about 250g every day during 60minutes for the 10 quests. 1000gold in 5 days. Brings 20 days and my Multiboxing chars have 60er elite Mounts, the 1k fly mount and the 5k epic mount

I think I'll quest in the Outlands and hope I make some good cash quickly, moving 40% faster dosen't seem like something I'd wanna spend hours apon hours farming for.

I made a lot better money with items around the twink brackets than I am with 40+ items and you can't give stacks of silk cloth away on my server.

And I dunno why, and it's not killing me becuase of the hard time selling items lvl 40+, but while running Uldaman and ZF I think I only recieved 3-4 greens in each run, and just my luck it's ussually ".. of the whale" items. I could have sworn when I used to run these places with pug's and get more than that. Any thoughts? I have a group of 5 shammies... do you need diversity to get more drops?

really? so few, Normally I fill 3 16 slot bags with just greens and blues, and trash goes to my other toons. Especially Uldaman, its like loot crazy.

Right now my shamans are Lv. 50 and I sit at about 1.5k at least if not more (alot of AH stuff on atm).

All I do is run instances, and loot EVERYTHING. Even gray weapons give you one gold. I have my enchanter to melt the drops and I sell the green with good stats on armor types. I believe I'll have enough to buy my epic mounts by the time I get to 60 and flying by the time I get to 70 for sure.
