so at the moment im dual boxing... i have my level 40 mage follow my level 40 hunter around and my hunter does all the quests and my mage gets triple xp from mobs and when he starts lagging behind i use my hunter to grant a couple levels so he can catch up
so far it's working great but im wondering if their is an even faster way to do it... i don't know if others like to exaggerate but i've heard that you can get to 60 in 20 hours played time
is their something i can do to speed it up even more (i've played these classes before and have seen all the content im not worried about "experiencing" the game at the moment)
my mage is on my veteran account and my hunter is on the account i created after i referred myself
on my veteran account i also have a level 56 rogue and a level 67 dk... so with all this info is their any advice someone can give me that has already used this method to quickly level?

Boosting with RaF bonus is currently the fastest method. My last group of 4 had just over 19 hours played on them. Armory lists it as 53 total 5 mans run. Boosted in instances with my 80 DK.
There should be a bunch of threads on this.

If you're DBing a duo, make sure they are both doing quests. It's a waste to grant levels to the guys you're playing with. I use Jamba, which makes this fairly simple. Sometimes I click in other window for quests (non-sharable). Otherwise I just share quest and slave is set to auto-accept. Pretty nice.
As for faster, instance boosting is beyond light speed. I went from 40-45 on two guys in about 90 minutes or so doing this and both guys are one day old and this is my first time (lots of mistakes). The next time around will be probably 25-30% faster overall.
Trick there is you either need a friend that's 80 to do it, pay someone to do it or do it yourself (3 accounts).
I often see people in /trade willing to run stocks for 15-20g a run. If I didn't have an 80, I'd cough up the gold for a few runs to go from 15-20 in under an hour. Same with SM Cath, et all.

My characters are from Horde
I have 4 leveling accounts (2 main, 2 RAF), level normally till lvl 8 (takes abt 1hr max)
Use my 3rd main account character who is a lvl 80 Prot warrior, run thru the 4 leveling chars on the following instance:
get RFC dungeon quest just outside RFC
lvl 8-16: RFC
get SFK dungeon quest at Silverpine Forest
lvl 16-22: SFK (park them at the fence just infront of the portal, and run my 80 warr, aggro all mobs till the boss, Razorclaw the Butcher, and finish them off on the other side of the fence where my lowbie stand)
lvl 22-40: SM-Cath (3 positions to park them, 1st at the starting passageway just before the open park, 2nd at the central fountain on the higher ground, 3rd outside the door of catheral)
get ZF dungeon quest at Gadgetzan
lvl 40-48: ZF (mount up, and aggro mobs till the furthest Gahz'rilla pool area, and run back to the 1st passageway where 2 long stretch of walls is, Stay LOS to gather the casters on you, and AOE them.
When running back to the AOE location, you have to park ur lowbie behind the 1st stone where the 1st group of mobs stand. this is to prevent aggro when your 80s is Hexed and yet get XP)
lvl 48-60: Stratholme (Zone from Undead portal, Clear the Life side till the 1st gate nearest to Life portal, this is to be prepared for your lowbie death and who will zone in from the Life Side. Sucide all your lowbies if no rezzer is left in the group, use your 80s to aggro the rest of live side from the 1st gate last clear to where the lowbie zone in in Life side.
It is a little tricky on postioning the lowbie as pats will respawn. clear till Baron Rivendare, hopefully, Deathcharger's Reins drop :D
Park your lvl 1 alts who will summon-a-friend at major cities and instance door, this can save lot of time running from instance to instance.
you will have lots of break time after 5-6 instance reset per hr, so get some fresh air
It took me 17-20hrs to level 4 characters from 1-60. Hope you can break my record :D

I agree that boosting is definately the way to go, however if you don't have that option....get Jamba, quest helper and perhaps the tourguide mod from the wiki.
Pick up just the kill quests and do them together.
If you can get boosts, here's what I've done and will be doing again.....
1-8 -- quest together in starting zone....goes in really quickly.
8-12 -- boost through RFC
12-20 -- boost through WC
20-40 -- boost through SM
40-45 -- boost through ZF
45-48 -- boost through ST
45-60 -- boost through right (dead) side of Strat
I'm not sure what my current played time is...as it's my first team, it's not that great.....last time I looked was at lvl 46...was 17 hours game time. I hope to improve on this for the next run.

its a long run in both instance and my RAFs are not able to park at a particular spot to receive the XP.
Moreover ST is a long run to the instance, if you do not have a mage to portal him to Stonard, or if your RAFs died in the instance with no rezzer available. :D
if it takes 30min to run your RAF from instance to another instance and gather them, wouldn't it be better to drop a few tedious instances and stay at the current one till their Maximum XP gain at their level is reduced.
if 60lvl/20hrs = 3lvl/hr (although it should be exponential for the calculation), 20min of running to another instance or back to body is almost 1 to 1.5 level ding. :P
Each time your RAF wipe in the instance, it means 0.1 level time wasted to recover them.
Whenever my RAF ding, if the XP gain is lower than the previous level, it means i have to move on to the next instance available.
SM-cath is abt 100xp more than SFK mobs at level 22-23 (abt 250xp ea mob)
ZF is abt 150xp more than SM-Cath mobs at lvl 38-40 (abt 400xp ea mob)
Strat is abt 300xp more than ZF mobs at lvl 48 (abt 700xp ea mob)
The xp varies from mob to mob.
In ZF, using mount, My prot warr, normally pull 40-50 mobs that's about 2/5 mobs of the instance, 8 min to clear the instance and reset (not doing boss, as loot is useless when your RAFs hit 60)
Run LOS to avoid Hex, get ready to trinket out and do not pull the whole instance mobs as some will reset their aggro.
It feels good to see at least 15mobs died at the same time due to my warr aoe burst, while my RAFs getting tons of XP and sometime you might withness all 4 of your RAFs level almost same time.
With RAFs, i have leveled 11 chars total: 2 Mages, 2 Locks, 1 Rogue, 3 Druids, 1 Priest, 1 Warr, 1 Hunter
Also thanks to my buddy who run them thru the lower instance when i am at work or help to loot senselessly for our enchanter.

I was able to avoid this. The "vet" account I used already had a lvl 61 shaman with all the flight paths etc on it. So what I did...usually when I was about to log or when I only had a few mins to go on......I'd move the vet to the instance...then create a lvl 1 on the RAF account...and friend summon....et voila....vastly reduced travel time. This means that only the boosted needs to actually travel...and as you'll notice....the instances I've run are all reasonably close to a flight master.
Although in saying that....I probably will give ST a miss the next time round. The only reason I did that was because of the initial failed attempts I had at Strat due to not having the side entrance key....and not knowing about the skeleton spawns in the scarlet hold
My team dinged 59 last night with around 1 day 3 hours game time, so can't be all that bad. 8)

Grats for hitting 59, guess ur team should be 60 by now.
I wonder if there is a faster way to level from them fr 60-70 in outland?
and yes none of them hv epic land mount, so a pain to gather almost 11k gold for my 11 RAFs, characters.
