Hello everyone,
I am new to this scene and am still in the process of reading and thinking this through.
I have two WoW accounts, and a PC that is more than capable of running two instances of WoW.
I've downloaded Jamba, and Hotkeynet, and installed both.
Last but not least I've created two draenai, a shaman and a warrior. I have not yet configured Jamba, but I think I got Hotkeynet up and running correctly.
I've been thinking through how to do this, and I'm not sure I've quite got down what I want to know before I start. If I understand this whole thing in principle...
1. Group together the two toons.
2. Makes sure I have appropriate mappings for some basic actions for each toon. The warrior has 1 mapped to attack, and 2 mapped to the draenai racial. The shammy has 1 mapped to attack and 2 mapped to racial and 3 mapped to heal focus (and I've got to figure out how to auto set the shammy's focus to the warrior).
3. Then I take quests, swapping between instances if necessary to take quests that aren't shareable.
4. Fight the mobs with the warrior and using the appropriate mappings. So if we get to a mob I hit 1 and both instances of wow receive a 1 which is "attack target" on the warrior and "attack target of focus" or something on the shammy.
Is this right in principle?
Am I even close?
Also are those two classes a mistake? It seems they'd complement each other well, but I havne't played either class to any degree so I'm not sure.
Any advice or tips are appreciated.
