Before restarts this morning I noticed that the mailboxes and large mounts now have a ghosting effect to them. I suppose this is the fix for the Npc and mailbox blockers.
I had to run off to work before I could verify this. Can anyone verify it? I didn't see anything in the official forums addressing the change this morning.

Is this really needed? Zooming in solves the problem fine for me.

CTRL + V works for me. :)

Well, control-V doesn't work on objects without a name plate.
And to clarify a bit. Mounts appeared to be see through, but only the large mounts. It looks like you could click objects through them but I couldn't verify this. The mail boxes were see through also. I could see players through the mailbox.
I am not trying to debate the need for the change, I am trying to verify that I am not losing my mind with what I saw.

With the new warlock summoning stone they removed all the ganking outside raid instances since you can summon quite as good inside a instance...

Last I checked this still wasn't implemented... is it now?

Last I checked this still wasn't implemented... is it now?Lock summoning stones are definitely in place now, I think as of last tuesday. It's pretty sweet, the only problem with it is the lock that does 25s with us is typically the last guy to find the instance.
As for the mailbox blockers, baby spice needs a buff imo -- it needs to be a physical debuff that shrinks a Tauren on a mammoth down to the size of an unmounted gnome.

My main was a lock back when we ran 40mans pre-bc. Back then, if your lock isn't the first person there so that he can summon the rest of the raid, he wasn't doing his job.

FYI, you don't need to be in the warlock's party to use the summoning... um.... television I guess..... they create.

But yea, mounts around needed objects is extremely annoying. We had 2 25 man raids (horde) being summoned in and they just all hung around on their dragon flying mounts instead of heading inside. Usually you either don't have a lock or he isn't near the instane so you need to summon him anyway.

Another update (for me anyway). A bunch of folks (from the same guild) were blocking out the Org mailbox this morning so I ran over to see if the transparency would help. Nadda. I moused around to see if the mail icon would show up and it didn't. I zoomed in and it was easier to see, so that helps. Then I reported all the tards because of foul language, real bad nasty racial shit too.

If they made this change it's a good thing. The argument I hear most often is, "well it's not like you can't just do this, or that, it's not that big of a deal." well, actually ... it is. Or people wouldn't block the things in the first place. It's just like being a forum troll...

So only the Warlock is supposed to move his as ?! (ok 2 People more but hey c'mon) That couldn't be it. Usually everyone has to be there @ the time, and maybe ask if he could get a port because of some circumstances. But it's not his job to Summon everyone :P

I used it for the first time yesterday. Out of the blue, the guild decided to try out the Omen fight for the Lunar Festival. Since most folks were in Northrend this is pretty out of the way. My lock flew from Org to Moonglade and met up with some druid guildees to start the summoning. The lock is only level 60, so I expected to have to use up my bag of shards. They replaced the existing Ritual of Summoning spell with the new summoning stone. Apparently you don't even have to be level 80 for this cool, new toy.

also note that any group can use the new summoning stone...not just the group that created it
