Ok so I have not tried this yet seeing Im still new to this.

But I was told to skip quests that require you to get quest items. I guess it hard to loot on all windows.

Well anyways.

Could it be possible in the future of Keyclone to make one of the mouse buttons work?

You could just shift click the mobs that way it will do it for all characters. Or is there another way to loot a mob without using the Mouse?

The more I think about the more I realize that this is not possible. Stupid blizzard and their non auto loot tactics.

I think we can all understand the problems that would allow macro-based looting and why blizz decided not to allow it.

I don't really think looting on alts is that bad.. for like collection quests it's semi-annoying but it's not really that bad.

Of course, I multibox on a single machine.. so my experience is probably better than hw multiboxers.

If i was hardware boxing I'd get 5 of the same cordless mouse and use 5 sensors for 1 mouse. But I'm on 1 comp so i just slide over to the loot on window 2 and click twice then move over tho my main window and kee-p on Keepin on.

I thought about the wireless mouse sync idea, but it provides too many opportunities for mistakes to be made.

Ever try replying to a tell (/w) on one toon with the broadcasting keyboard?

make a box with sliders to cut off the IR sensors when you don't want them to be used.

Looting isnt the problem with collection quests anyway...

The problem are the extra mobs you must kill to do them.

To do a Kill 20 so-and-so quest, you kill 20 and your finished.

To do a Collect 20 so-and-so quest, You Kill 20 and your just started... even at a 100% drop rate you need 100 kills to finish the quest. (note: some quest s have one of the item drop for each party member, for those quests collection is fine)

Yeah, don't really have a problem looting with different toons. For any collection quests, I usually go to Wowhead to get an idea of the drop rate, along with the comments (which usually has how bad the grind is). Also look to see if it's on a chain worth doing.

Uh if you go down the many mice one reciever route... why on earth would that make sending replies to whispers any harder?

What I did with three: (Briefly as I was borrowing machine three and the mice.)

Main keyboard and mouse muliplexed with Multibox (the synergy variant). To loot drag wireless mouse to top left corner of screen (any corner will do) that lines up all the cursors. Then loot as normal with that mouse. In my case shift plus right click, one of the three characters loots the other two don't. Take control of main screen again with normal wired mouse and kill another mob...

BUt as mentioned its not the looting that sucks its the amount you need to grind to get 20 drops, assuming a 1 in 10 drop rate (average) for 20 drops thats 1000 mobs to kill (i think I suck at maths though). And while grinding sadly is part of the game I'd rather be doing kill quests.
