Edit: Had never done this instance before tonight (always avoided it cause it looked/sounded crappy :) )
Did this on heroic tonight - wiped about 4 times getting everything down but beat it on the first try... this is NOT a fun instance. The bosses are annoying, but the trash is super annoying. Lots of AoEing mobs, I had to set up new macros for poison cleeansing, etc...
Anyway, as far as the bosses go, boss 1 was pretty easy but a bit hectic - standard strategy just tear apart the guardian when he spawns. I dropped 4x healing streams and kept magma totems up to kill adds. Other than that blast the boxx (Hadnox or something) as fast as possible.
Second boss I wiped on the first try trying to figure out how to do it. This it the mage guy. After I realized what his abilities were I killed him the second try and he never even got a chance to summon his fire orbs. Basically I just kept my shamans back about 20 yds and went full force on him until the first time he disappeared and locked up one of my shamans. Then I ran over to him with my DK, put all shamans on follow and blasted the hell out of him, once the shaman was unlocked I hit follow again and chain heal, then blast some more. This way my shamans would automatically swivel to follow my DK and be able to hit the boss - could usually unlock the shaman before the boss had him down to 50% health. Was pretty easy using this strategy.
Third boss (the mage guy that floats in the air) - standard strategy, AoE'd the initial mobs (thank god for the new magma totem), then dropped 4x healing streams and a slew of other totems and went full force on the boss - i just left my shamans sitting right next to my tank on follow. When the boss went immune, dps'd down the add fast (man you have to dps the adds super fast or they make it to the circle). I just ate the cyclone strikes and chain healed + used my healing streams. I forgot to move out of the AoE circles so I kept taking massive damage and wondering where it was coming from, so next time I'll move out of it. Aside from that this boss was pretty easy and I didn't wipe on him or lose any shamans.
Last boss I wiped on the first try pretty badly. The insanity had me going insane (har har). Anyway once I re-read the strategy and then set a key to drop a nature resist totem on all 4 shamans it got pretty easy. I'll give an extended strategy that I used for him:
DPSed him down without using any cooldowns or bloodlust (next time though I'm definitely going to start out full force - his insanity has such a long cast time that I bet I can have him down to <20% before he even casts the first one.
As soon as insanity started I dropped 4x nature resist totems and re-dropped my mana spring (wasn't sure if it would follow me). On my DK I dropped a DnD on top of my clones and used unholy blight and anti magic shell. Shamans I would just cast 4x self lesser healing waves every few seconds. With nature resist and 4 ele shamans it was easssssy to heal through. Once my DK got out, I used my other shaman to heal him up and then DK+shaman to kill the clones in that insanity, and so on and so forth - I was actually able to kill all clones on all insanities before the timer ran out and then chain heal to full. I did go through both insanity phases but the second one seemed easier - maybe cause I knew what was happening. I had no mana issues.
But again, like I said, next time I'm going to blow bloodlust/cooldowns at the beginning and wtfpwn the guy so fast he wont know what hit him. Also it helps to use thunderstorm x4 a little way into the insanity to get mana and also get any melee guys in your group a little ways away.
Bottom line for this instance is - it sucks (even solo boxing I'd hate it) and the only reason I'm doing it is for the tanking bracers which I was hoping to get on the first run (no such luck).
Hope this helps someone - I found some other threads here but the strategies were almost all for the last boss and they weren't quite descriptive enough.
