And able to provide any info on getting started? I looked at the Wiki but there wasn't a whole lot on DKs.
I leveled 4 locks to 70 pre LK, but quit playing WoW shortly before it came out and am looking to get back into it. I know how to multibox, but don't kow anything specific to DKs. What's the best spec, or talent tree, right now?

Yes, I have one. Other than DOGS OF WAR: A Melee Multi-boxing experiement ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=57395#post57395') you just need to try it out. I don't find it any different than boxing rogues, feral druids, paladins, warriors, whatever. I personally spec unholy for the ghouls. YMMV.

Thanks for the input. I was just speaking to a friend of mine at work about this.
I'm pretty excited. On top of not having played LK yet... this seems like it'll be much more different than playing Warlocks, so I'm looking forward to the new experience. Unholy seems the way to go to me as well.
Are there any ridiculously terrible things I should know going into this? How's the whole phasing thing working out for boxers?

Yes, a bunch of us have rolled 5x Death Knights on PVP server Blood Furnace (see info in sticky above = Clash of the Titan's, Faction List) for weekly group activity.
My thoughts:
1. I miss having a healer and someone to rez. An all Shaman group, or a group with at least one Shaman in it have me really spoiled. That "self rez" is SO sweet!
2. 5x Death Knight group puts out a HUGE amount of burst damage. Any solo character as much as ten levels higher than the D-K's has zero chance against them. A solo 80 can usually wipe 5x level 60 Death Knights, especially if well geared, although we've all killed a few by now.
3. For PVE, no solo elite mob has a chance against your group! It's not even close. Even five level higher elites are possible, although the hit issues become serious (Against NPC mobs, five levels higher means that we "miss" a LOT, an issue which almost no problem in PVP)
4. Initial gearing them up is easy, they come out of the starting area with a decent weapon, decent armor, and a very fast mount. Much better equipped than most characters that have been rushed through the lower levels.
5. For PVE, I'd probably roll 5x unholy. For PVP, so far, I'm liking 3x Unholy, 1x Frost, 1x Blood. The Frost gives me resist all 60, the Blood gives me healing on all char's while attacking, which lets me last just a bit longer, while the Unholy melt faces! 8o
I had not used more than one melee in a group before, so it took me awhile to get used to reconnecting after every target change, but I finally got fairly used to it. When a character gets hit, it seems to target whatever hit it, which is mostly not what I want. I want them all working on focus firing my main's target. It's a bit more challenging than my typical tank, healer, 3x ranged DPS, but fun.
Come join us on Blood Furnace for weekly carnage!

Phasing isn't too bad at all. Just use Jamba and make liberal use of the follow strobe option. Run (or fly) into the phase and then stop. If the clones don't make it in back out and try again. Jamba's follow strobe will lock on follow for you so all you need to do is drive.
I currently have a 4 Dk team still in the starting area. With instant pip and having focus/follow go to the active window, it is a breeze and very fun. Watching the dots stack up on targets is actually quite funny. But you have already seen that with your locks.

As posted above DK's are great for PvE grinding.
You will need a healer if you plan on PvP nearing 80,and dont like to rez alot.

GL :)I just started a 3 DK team yesterday - I was just going to level them to 68 and then take one to Northrend with my 80's, but I had so much fun with them, I might go all the way. :)
Main is unholy, alts are blood. Seems easier to have the alts blood, that spec seems less maintenance. I have enough gold on hand, I'll respec at will, I havent even begin researching the class.
Even 3 is massively overpowered - I'm 2-3 shotting everything I'm running into. I like the Death Grip for positioning, I'm used to ranged with MBing.
When I can afford another account or two, and duel specs is out, my plan is to have my druid and mage on call for them, for heals and portals and such.
I had a griefer yesterday, too - some idiot DK was trying to pull mobs onto me, but that doesn't really work anymore. Same old story - stood by the side while I was playing for a while, then started shadowing me, then started trying to pull mobs onto me. Asshole. I was killing so fast, that the 4 he DID manage to drag near me died in seconds. I *almost* went after him, but I was having fun questing, so I let it go.
I really don't care anymore, I don't try to hide that I'm boxing, let them report me, but I won't be dragged into corpse camping or tossing insults in chat - I have better things to do with my time. But these DKs...I understand now why every terribad player rolled them - they're so overpowered, even playing them badly means you win. Resisting the urge to gank idiot horde players is going to be hard with these DKs.
Awesome end to the start zone, too. I won't spoil it, but that whole zone is the best work they've ever done.
