Outside org today i saw and ele shaman beat several people in duels. I haven't seen that in a long time. Most of the duels where ele vs a healer though, so maybe ele is just a counter to healer. The ele shaman was good though and i give him props. He managed to win vs a pillar humping druid and a holy pally.

Cant see how a elemental shaman is suposed to lose vs a healer with unlimited water trought water shield.

The dps output of healers is so low that you can easily heal trought it while you can purge vital survial tools of most healers.

Dpsing costs way more to them then what healing costs to us.

1 vs 1 means nothing to PVP and is not actively balanced within the game.

Ask Blizz, they'll even admit to it.

in 1on1 there will always be classes/specs you can beat and classes /specs ypu can only beat if you got lucky with RNG or if the other player is a noob.

Elemental shaman should by all means loose to just about every dps class in the game in a equally matched (both players of same gear/skill) 1vs1

I'd have been very impressed if he beat a DK, Rogue, Feral Druid, BM Hunter, Warrior or Mage... wait... that's almost all the dps classes , lol. ;(
