WMV's and horked aspect ratios?

I've tried uploading to Youtube, uploading to WeGame, converting to Divx... For some reason my 720p WMV video keeps getting a squashed aspect ratio.

I know Youtube officially tells you to upload MPEGs, but WMVs are so much smaller. And, while Youtube was OK with my .divx video, when it uploaded it had the same wonky aspect ratio flattening.

Anyone else have to deal with this? Any fixes?

I don't have a true solution but is it possible to make the video the next size up height wise so there are black bars at the top and bottom but the ratio becomes 4:3? That way you still get widescreen but youtube thinks its 4:3 so it doesn't change the ratio at all.

I had to lol at your music choice, not to mention all the fails. That's my first time seeing the Heigan DDR stuff, looks pretty fun. I wonder if their is an instructional video for that.

Oh and sorry dont know why it borders it with chunky black box.

I tried uploading a standard size video with the black bars, but it just squashed the whole thing smaller. >.< This is the closest I can get to something visible, but the squashed aspect ratio makes me squirm.
