My pally is almost 60 and as soon as the new computer comes in I will be 5-boxing. Until then I'm going to start working on my keybindings & macros.

I've never tanked with a pally. I know they throw a shield to start off the fight, throw down a consecrate where they will be fighting the mobs, but otherwise I'm not really sure what else. I don't have access to many WoW websites while at work which is why I'm asking here :)

I've never really played a shaman. I plan on the shaman being my healer but I'm not sure of their abilities.

The three DPS are moonkins.

1.) Tank, DPS, or healer as master? I'm guessing the tank but I thought I'd get verification
2.) One button for healing focus target (tank mosts likely) and one button for chain healing party? Or what system do you often use? How do you react if a DPS is taking damage?
3.) Totems on a cast sequence or individual buttons for each?
4.) How do you DPS one mob while tanking another? If the tank if your main do you use mouseover so that your "assist selection" never has to change in order to apply a tanking ability?
5.) DPS are likely on a /castrandom. Are you constantly spamming that button in which case sometimes you'd have to be pushing two buttons at the same time? Do you have a separate button for DoTs?

Many others to come as I think about them. Thanks for the help :)

Avenger shield to pull and grab initial aggro.
consecrate - aoe
holy shield - reflect aoe
hammer of the righteous - 3 mobs

judge and hammer them as often as cooldowns allow.

those there are all you really need.

also use:
seal of blood
blessing of the sanctuary.
devotion aura or ret aura, depends on your liking.
shield spikes.

if you have 3 mobs, you will never have to change targets.
hammer of wrath fleeing mobs or mobs about to die if you have enough mana. with blessing of sanctuary and 3 mobs, you shouldnt have any issues.

as far as stats go, stack stamina. there is a talent that converts stam to spellpower. attack power is minimal.

all i can give you now. good luck!

Thanks for the info. As basic as all that sounds, I didn't know 1/2 of it!

What do you do for groups of 4+?

Do you single target heal using something like F1-F5? If so, do you use an addon that orders the group members in a certain fashion?

I know these questions are extremely basic, but that's why they're in this forum :)

with the tank as the group leader, they're always party1. so i use conditionals "party1" if i neeed the healer to target the tank.

i use the - and = for heals, with modifiers, and try to keep it simple. nomod=small heal, alt=larger heal, etc.

for groups of 4+, the only thing that isnt aoe is the hammer of the righteous, which hits 3 targets. you can see which 3 mobs get hit by it and i would just mouseover-judge the fourth. this is really only if the dps is doing AoE. if they are not, then my consecrate/holyshield/spike/retaura has got aggro covered. and you didnt mention your dps, so i am gussing they're either more shamans, or your boomkin team.

for my dps, yes. one of the lesser used F buttons work best. for one healer, you will just need to make macros with specific dps'ers names. the tank should always be "party1" so you dont need to specify the name.
