Valgarde boosting to lvl 76, where to next?

I havent been playing as much as I would have liked lately. But My DK is 80 now but my shammies were still 75 as I spent what time I was playing tanking instances for my guild.

I started boosting my pally and warrior tanks (who were 70) and with rested exp was getting 1million xp/hr (you read that right - ok it ended up being like 916,000 or something after 30minutes+) for several hours. That dropped off as they levelled closer to 76.

Well once the girls hit 76 I could no longer boost there where the Vrykuls are in constant supply at the border of Valgarde as the mobs are now trivial to them. I need another spot that has a steady flow of mobs that I won't run out of that are level 73-74?

My warrior is 75 and pally 76. I still solo play (well, tank for the guild) the DK mostly and therefore have plenty of rested xp to continue the rested boosting if I can find another place with a similar setup.

Please help me find another place to boost my alternate tanks.

How do you do it? Tag then finish off with mains outside the group or just stay grouped and just farm them? Also, do you gather and aoe or just chain pull?

Apart from wanting to copy you, the other reason I ask this is because to the east of the big tree in the middle of grizzly hills, these dudes continuously spawn (there are 7-8 of them and when you finish killing the 6th the 1st is back up) but they have bows and just shoot you from range. The river that runs up the east side of grizzlemaw. On both sides there are fast respawning mobs.

Outside group - I stand in the middle where I pickup up 4 of the Vrykul that rush in. Couldn't find a better spot for more of them. I tap and let the girls finish them off. I would tap as they came in and use Chain or just bolt them, depending on what was appropriate at the time.

Once your 'boosters' hit 76 though its over, so try not to be sloppy in the tapping.

Once your boosters OR boostie hit 76 the rocket ride is over because the mobs are only 67-69.

This is why I need a new spot.


I was only getting 700k/hr at level 75. This was limited by only being able to pickup 4 at a time. If you find a better spot to stand in that you can grab more, let me know.

Idea. Grizzly hills the elite trees. Could u tag with ur warriorrs and finish off. 74 elites for my grp of 5 get 1k a kill imagine u will get more for ur slaves. By the time u make one pass with your group plus killing the reg mobs they will all be respawning again. I dont think that would be that bad plus you tag get aggro with main and still can help kill with others to kill faster.

Let me know what your getting becuase i was thinking of doing the same thing when i got my druid to 75 but currently doing other thing and not playing wow as much. A break away makes me want to play. Urges so strong i think about playing all the time now that i dont come on weekend i want to play.

Been a few posts about this. The human mobs in the Onslaught camps are 72-73 and you can pull 10-15 per camp, there are 5 or so camps of them, all melee, and they respawn fast. You do a round, and by the time you get back to the first camp, is spawned. unrested that is about 10-15k exp per pull at 72. and 8-12k after 73. Try it and see how it works. Also In grizzly hills there are big packs of mustangs roaming around. I hear those are good as well. They are 73-74? maybe 75
