After spreading a bit of hate and discontent last night in Western Plaguelands to get to level 60 on my team, I returned to Outlands, only to hear a spitstorm of QQ about this Svpernova guy, having FIVE toons all named the same, (BTW, I think there was only four, but what do I know, I didn't see them, but we KNOW they couldn't really have the same name) on a killing spree, tearing up everything in Hellfire Peninsula. Sounds like The Zerg was romping and stomping! :D
One of our solo Plethora quild members got in the way and got zapped, and asked if we were gonna go crush that bunch, and had trouble accepting that we had sort of a truce with The Zerg while leveling, and they weren't in MY way! He said, "but they just killed me". I checked, yup, PVP server, assumed that he must have "been in the way", and just grinned to myself. Way to go Horde, the power of multiboxing continues to impress, depress, and amaze! :D
There's still time folks, get signed up, level two or more D-K's (or whatever), and join the coming blood bath! The Zerg must be stopped, the Svpernova's must be exploded, OR Plethora must be exterminated, depending you your faction point of view. Come one, come all, sharpen your swords for the Alliance, for the Horde, for the TITAN'S

Yeah, about that hunter......
Tell him sorry, we kinda camped him 3 or 4 times before I said "oh shit, plethora, let him rez, don't kill him". He wasn't in OUR way, but he was in the way trying to gank some other solo people that were asking for help.
I posted about our rampage last night. Akeldema and I were on the warpath, pretty much running around ganking anything that moved (or stood still). When we ran out of people to gank we went after NPCs.

yeah, I'm only running 4, Akeldema's running 3. What was funny was when were would stand idle we'd all bunch up together and it would look very intimidating. I gotta remember to hit the screenshot button more often. As far as a leveling truce, running around and questing not messing with each other is great but, if you see me in an alliance area I fully expect a beating, I hope you expect the same :_D

No problem. He isn't a multi-boxer, just someone that wanted to join our guild. After seeing the power of multi-boxer's (Victum LOL), he is very interested in trying it himself. We may see him here soon ;)
For sure,if I invade a Horde area, or we are in a really contested area (towers, for instance), I expect a battle royal to ensue :P If we meet in an area where we need to be close for questing, expect anything! (Like wild gouls !!! 8o )
Although I need to do enough PVP to figure out how to play my team, I've cooled off a bit on attacking other players. We've killed quite a few "skull" (as in much higher level ?? than us) players now, and other than paladins, it appears that our group is slightly more than a fair match for any solo toon. Solo players within ten levels of us are just a one hit kill, so is now only done if they are in my way. Despite that, we somehow manage to stir things up, as I have no issues with attacking any hostile "skull" character we get within range. I still haven't figured out how to handle skull paladins, but we killed a "skull" Tauren warrior last night that rode right across us in Western Plaguelands (I thing he was leveling mining). Boy was he upset!!! Within a couple of minutes, the place was swarming with "skull" Horde. I counted eight, there may have been more.
Maybe, we're all re-activating "World" PVP that had been reported to be dead. Beware the power of the wild gouls! 8o  ;)

im pretty sure you can rename the guild, at least that was an option when i was talking to the guild vendor.
also i've got my guy out of the scarlet enclave. just hit outlands and logged off. i cant do more dk's since only one account has wrath. so... svper, i'll message you on my DK, Camarillion.

Well, I thought plethora fit better, because I was sure that I'd need LOTS of excuses when I got my butt whipped, and have lots of toons and pets :P
I'm surprised with all the multiboxers here that we haven't have more sign up. i really thought that we'd have around twenty on each team, with maybe a 50-100 toons on each. Oh well, there's still plenty of time for second week joiners. Maybe, it they really hustle, they can even particapate this weekend but the Clash of the Titan's is drawing near. 8o

many people are lurkers. there are also many that cannot play on US servers.
then there are those that will wait and see how it goes or just feel their pvp isn't up to snuff
i think the last nit it probably keeping most people back. i'd say, don't worry about it. just come on down and if you die, you die. no big deal. it's not like these are your main toons. just run back, res... and get back in it.

My concern is the horde is going to be short people. I'm not going to be there friday night, I've got previous engagements I can't break >.< But I will be around saturday. I expect a lot of screenshots.

Just my .02, but I would suggest only doing it one night a week and have it rotate between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. I think that's your best chance of having a large turnout.

i figure by having friday and saturday, more people have a shot at doing it.
this week, horde attacks on friday, alliance on saturday. we can flip it next week, so the people that can only make it saturday will be able to get a chance at offense and defense

I'll be there, I swear. Got home later than expected and got caught up bringing some other teams up to 10 for boosting.
Should be creating the DKs tonight. There will be five of us. I'll whisper someone when I've got em set up and post in the forums. I'll be 60 by Friday night, but it will slow down some after that as I have other characters to attend to.
I like having both Friday and Saturday, but then again, I play too much.

That's exactly how I felt! My only experience with PVP was a few situations when I got unexpectly ambushed a few times on carebear servers when they still had the bugs where you could be pulled into PVP against your will, or even know it before you were dead. THAT was no fun.
This is WAY different. We'll all have similar fairly decent gear (fresh D-K's), and somehow the deaths just don't matter. A whirling dervish of characters just whailing on each other it so much harmless fun, I never dreamed it could happen. This isn't at all like I'd heard that Arena and battleground was like. We have very little time invested in these characters, which may be part of it, but win or lose, its fun either way. PVP deaths don't even seem to cause repair bills like PVE deaths. AND, since there is so little effort involved in creating these characters, if we don't like it, we can quit at any time.
And NO ONE should be bashful about their lack of PVP skill. I can't imagine anyone being worse than me, and even if they were, who cares. Nobody is keeping score! Besides, two to one (or five to one or whatever) odds makes up for a LOT of lack of skill. I'm living proof of that!!!! 8o  :D

I played PVE servers up until I started really getting into boxing and then went PVP. I was actually a bit nervous and intimidated but as time went on I totally loved it. I will never spend any significant time with toons on a non-pvp server.

if pvp prowess is an issue, i suggest going into AB and AV at 59 for a bit. play a few games and learn that its ok to die, even though you can try not to. also, you dont even need to do corpse runs. rez, /follow and you're ready to kill again. in hfp, if you die twice in a very short time, your rez timer goes up to 2 minutes. geez. i hate that.
