Not sure I would.

It would cost me $20 to get 2 L60's and an additional $25 to transfer a third. Purchase vanilla wow digitally with RAF recruitment and level two to 60, two to 31 and grant the one on the referred account 29 levels, all within 30 days. Then cancel the new account and transfer the third toon to the referred account if I wanted to keep it. I could even get the $20 back by returning the software (supposedly Blizzard policy is that it will take back any software within 30 days, dunno if I would do that though). So, I could have 2 L60's for free [less my time].

If it were account based, I would have to add it to two accounts to maximize the benefit. So, I suppose I would pay a one time charge of $10 for a persistent RAF on an existing account.

Now, if it was extended to L70 or L80, that's a different story. I'd probably pay a one time charge of $25 for that. Would really depend on the details.

I'd rather just pay for the option to create a L60 or L70 toon [even L80]. I'd pay a one time charge of $50 to $100 for the option of creating any L60 or L70 toon I wanted on my account.

Maybe we should aim for dual-toons instead of dual-specs :) For every character you have, you have a twin of a different class or something :P I'd like that.

It's unlikely I would ever do any of this though, I already have too many characters as it is.

I'd happily pay double the current subscription rate for the 300% xp. Id expect that the bonus last through all old content (IE: 60 for TBC and 70 for Lich King). And I'd expect this sorta fee to be recurring monthly. Of course I'd also turn it off when I wasnt' leveling alts.

While I would gladly pay double for the service..I don't think I would be able to do it long.
Because once my wife found out, I'd be dead. :P

But a few extra dollars per account wouldn't be bad.

Well, I'm not planning to level more alts since I already have groups parked at 60. I suppose I'd answer 'none' but that may change soon enough. If they release a healing hero class in the next expansion, I'm likely to take my Paladin out of retirement, solo level him to 65 (or whatever the starting level is for the new class) and roll four of the new character type.

May be a bit of a conspiracy theory here, but I wouldn't be surprised if RAF xp bonuses are part of a plan to keep WoW's subscription numbers rising.

/sigh, I really wish they hadn't trivialized so much of the old world content.

This whole RAF concept is just painful for me. Not because I'm opposed to the concept, but, rather, because I purchased my accounts and paid 6-months of subscription on them aproximately 2 weeks before RAF was announced. I'm a master at timeing... yeah, ask me about how stock portfolio... <sigh>

I would pay $20 a month to be immune to getting dazed off my mount by mobs. That drives me frickin insane.

The main reason I don't see double being an issue is because I'd never have it turned on for more than a month at a time. You can easily bring a 5 box team 1-70 in 30 days even without RAF type XP, so dropping an extra $100 on subs for a month would be all it takes to get 2-3 teams to 70 if you focus. HOnestly I've got enough 60+ toons to last me forever now, hell I haven't even finished gearing out my shamans and I've got plans to do druids, locks, and a pally/mage/priest/rogue/warrior group.

Or what about an option when you log on that allows you 2x(or whatever) the XP for quests and kills with an hourly fee. Could be turned off/on whenever needed....no need to be grouped to enjoy the xp bonus. Gold rewards from quests could be nerfed to compensate from the increase in XP.

Leveling a character is what turns people away from the game.....well it almost did for me. Extending a RAF type of process basicly allows a person to get to 80 faster.....and generate more income for Blizz. And the whole "learn to play you class" argument is basicly throwned out the window with the grant lvl process as it is now.

My RAF runs out today, I have 4 classes above 70 and 4 at 60. So I really have no need or desire to lvl another class from 1-80 for solo or boxing play....unless i am really bored. And I am especially not going to buy more accounts to be able to get RAF again. So the only way Blizz will get MORE of my money per month would be to have a RAF option on an existing account.

I would pay an extra $3 a month for perma RAF in its current state. I don't think its worth double a sub cost seeing how it stops at level 60. It would not surprise me with the Hero Classes coming out that at some point you can just create any toon at level 55 like the DK's. I think DAOC had this feature as well.
