G13 Question

OK Really quick question How do you have yours set up? I just ordered mine off the site cause Damn Bestbuy just DOES NOT want to carry it. That being said Can someone give me a small over view of how theirs is set up and whats so great about it? I look @ the other threads which made me want to buy this thing but now I gotta figure out how I want to set mine up

I assume I want to use the hat movement for the clones right?
So that leads to the question how do I move my guy Any way I appreacite the help and support as always thanks!

Recieved mine today and I am still working out the Direct Input and Innerspace recognition. I plan to use the hat for clone movement for sure. The is also a button (push in) which I think will be unbound. Buttons by the hat will be some type of follow/strobe on/strobe off/spread out , not sure what will work best.

I may make an imaginary line down the middle of the keypad and have tank functions to the right and dps functions to the left. This will take some retraining and I am sure lots of remapping will occur.

I have a few days off starting Wednesday and I hope to have most of the kinks worked out before I go back to work on Saturday. I really want to use the G15/G13 exclusively and sell off my Xkeys. Only time will tell.

THis is my setup

[ Range-aoe ] [Slow cast] [q] [ w ] [ e ] [tab] [DK debuff]

[ Self-AOE] [DOT] [a] [d] [g = select nearest enemy slaves] [ mount/unmount]

[Aspect of pack] [alt strave left] [DK AOE] [alt strave right] [Sheep - focus]

[Pet aggressive] [ pet defensive] [pet passive, callback]


joystick = slaves [forward, backward, turn left/right)
buttons = space and F (for follow)


Names reflect macros (castsequence) on alts

DOT e.g 3 dots on lock, 1 on mage, 1 one hunter, one on priest. (So I need to press it 3 times) [would have been easy if blizzard allowed wait ;) ]

Running a diverse group with DK, lock, priest, mage, hunter and also have a XKeys 128 on which I use 50% of the buttons

I prefer the G13 to the keyboard since my hand rest much better on it.
