5-man PVE team (pally, shaman x2, mage priest

I thought I would share my team build.

Although I do have good cc with this group I have never had to use it. I like to keep things simple. I am sure that as I progress into much harder content I will modify macros and keybindings to squeeze more out of them. My goal right now is to gear them up through rep rewards and emblem gear.

Tank - Rarz - Protection Paladin (armory ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=rarz'))
I tried a warrior and DK but neither could hold a bunch of mobs like the pally. Currently does about 1900 TPS on average. This pally is probably my best geared toon.

Heals - Atheus - holy priest (armory ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=atheus'))
Prayer of Mending, Greater heal and prayer of healing are the only spells I use on him. This toon is a healing machine.

DPS - Zendrak & Zendrek - Elemental Shamans (armory ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=zendrak'), armory ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=zendrek'))
Currently averaging 1500dps (according to recount) in a heroic instance. Grounding totems keep the random damage to a minimum and the rest of the totems are yummy.

DPS - Rhomulus - Frostfire Mage (armory ('http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Aggramar&n=rhomulus'))
lol, food and portals oh and he can dps too. Currently averaging a low 1200dps. This is my least geared toon.

When I get bored of this team I will likely roll a druid and lock and change them out for dps.

Looks good to me. I have a similar setup, but all mages for dps. I have shamans too, but they are only 61. Once i get all my teams im gonna mix em up, and have a nice core team.

I run pretty much the same team except a resto shaman instead of a holy priest, and I've cleared every heroic except Oculus and Halls of Stone. My mage is actually my most geared toon (my main in a regular guild) and does the most damage, he pushes over 3k dps on many heroic boss fights spec'd as either ffb or arcane, my shamans do 2-3k dps most of the time, but they've pushed over 4k in 25 man raids.

Don't forget to go get the wintergrasp helm and boots, they are great items and insanely easy to get - a few wintergrasp victories and they are yours. You can also solo-join your guys in voa/os25 pugs, easy way to get a few pieces of t7.5.

Hi Atheus, I have exactly the same team makeup, I think I'm just a little bit behind you on gear though. I'm going to note those heroics you finished and give them a go myself, the only heroic bosses I can consistently one-shot are the Snake boss in Gundrak and Keleseth. Good to know you're having some success with that team.

Curious, how is your PvP? I find myself being beaten to a mushy pulp with that same mix.
