I'm at the final stages of my new PC build and looking for suggestions on a wireless keyboard and mouse. Currently I play on my coffee table with a laptop and an HDMI cord running to my TV (5-6 ft away). With the new PC I'd like to just set it near the TV and continue playing on my laptop except with a wireless keyboard & mouse (since the laptop won't be there for easy mobility).

Any suggestions? I don't mind replacing the batteries once per month, but any more than that and I think I'd prefer rechargeables. I use my mouse for movement (including turning) and keybind my keys, so both will likely be used a great deal. I'll assume 30 hours playing a week for useage/battery calculations.

Thanks again :) I plan on compiling all the information I've learned into one thread once the PC is built and functioning.

The one I'm using is pretty good. I can't tell you what kind they are cause' they were a christmas present from my fiancees mom. Microsoft made them, and they came from the friendly neighborhood wal-mart, so just look there and I'm sure you'll find something good. I do however know that they came in a packaged deal (for like $30.00), and haven't failed me yet :). G'Luck!

How's the battery consumption?
