Been reading everything posted, waiting for the main box to be fixed. I noticed ALOT of people are from the Greater Seattle area. I have lived here my whole life and still love it, even with the crazy weather. I counted 6 posters and might be more. Stand and be counted, and maybe we can do a thing.

i love that area. im not too familiar with seattle as its a good drive from ft. lewis. but im pretty familiar with tacoma and lakewood. if i dont get stationed in fl after japan, im trying to go back to ft. lewis. awesome place. gonna have to bring my car back there in the future after i get my engine built and turbo slapped on it and destroy all those ricers running around I5 and S. tacoma way.

I lived in Seattle for many many years. Oddly enough I lived in Orlando up until recently (where the site owner Ellay lives) but now I live in Greenville South Carolina which I like about 100x better than both of those places ;)
Interesting to see where everyone here is from.

I live clear on the other side of the country, yay me lol.
No one ever lives in north carolina :(
I've literally only met like 3 people in my entire online life from NC :(

My wife and I grew up in Yakima Valley (2 hours south of Seattle, central Washington.). We just moved here in Vegas about about four years ago when I enlisted in the service and got a lucky assignment :D

I hang out on a motorcycle forum for Suzuki M109Rs and the guy that runs the site plus his sponsor plus a couple guys that own shops all live in NC :)

I haven't posted much here yet (though I read the forums avidly). I am also from the Seattle area. I live in Kirkland and work in the video game industry down in Redmond. I recently transfered my team of 5 to a local server here in Seattle (Shandris); I have noticed a huge difference in latency (30ms vs 300+ms on servers in Dallas).

Suvega and I are Microsoftee's. If all goes well, we'll be moving from Bellevue to Kirkland in March. *crosses fingers*
I know some of the MS WoW folks are trying to set up an every Friday bar night. Might be fun to do some sort of get together.

I recently transfered my team of 5 to a local server here in Seattle (Shandris); I have noticed a huge difference in latency (30ms vs 300+ms on servers in Dallas).I started on a Seattle server - Uther - and still play there but now live in Dallas. I see the exact opposite of what you see. If I didn't have such a huge network of friends and family on Uther I would consider moving. That and like 65 toons that would have to move that I would have to pay for (my whole family plays).
I lived in Seattle - well Marysville - and worked downtown for about 3 years. I loved the summers but had a really hard time with the winters, the whole family did. If I ever get to the point where i can have a "summer home" that is where it will be.
I also did a 3 week TDY at Ft. Lewis for Team Spirit back in like '94 that was cool, other then staying in the old tinderboxes, I mean barracks, on old fort. Weather was great the whole time I was there, I really enjoyed it.

Downtown Seattle.
Okay, that's it. We need to have a Seattle area multibox meet up. Anyone have ideas or suggestions? First thing that comes to mind is the Gameworks in downtown, but I'm open to anything.
Also, I've been leveling a team on Maiev and so far I like it. It's a very low pop pvp server with about twice as many horde to alliance. I'm alliance ;) If anyone is thinking about rerolling, or looking for a server, it might be worth checking out. I get about 30ms pings now that most lag issues have been handled.
