So, as some may know I left and was inactive for a bit but I'm back now and with both the expansions now. I've already made my accounts and surprisingly, it's quite affordable once you get the one-time cost of buying the expansions out of the way, etc. So, I'm currently tweaking my system (newly built) to get ready for a Saturday session of testing the macros and team out. Advice would be great if you wanna give some. Well, here's the team I plan on boxxing with.

2x Paladins
2x Warlocks
1x Priest

Does anyone think I should try an easier box team for the first real time or this should be fine for me?

I tried using the assist=focustarget or whatever it is and could never get that to work, so how is setting the main character in all my assist macros or is that just setting me up for an even harder time? Also, anyone got any Paladin, Warlock, Priest macros I should use or want to share?

BTW, all these will be running on the same system on a 24" monitor. The specs of the system are: Intel C2D E8400 @ 3.0ghz (OC'd to 3.8ghz), Nvidia Geforce GTX260 896mb GFX Card, 8gb RAM. This should be fine to run 5 copies of WoW at the same time right? Also, what programs do you recommend I get? I bought a copy of keyclone a while back but don't have the key no more, is there any way to get a new key or do I need to re-buy Keyclone?

More questions are probably to come as I get all the macros, etc sorted out.

What are you using the second pally for? Seems like a pain in the ass to throw a melee'r in there.

That comp will run 5 fine, just remember to set the affinities efficiently with keyclone.

Email keyclone with your situation and he will get you sorted out. He's pretty prompt and has already helped me out twice with transferring keys.

At first I was going to go with 5x Paladins, but then I thought it'd be better to get a class with a pet and a healer in there as well. So the warlocks and priest were added. I wonder if this would be a better team.

1x paladin (tank)
3x warlocks (dps)
1x priest (heal)

And thanks, I'll go contact him now and see if I can't get a new key.

Also, a bit late as I've already paid for the accounts, but was this a smart move with the RAF thing?

Account A refers B
Account B refers C
Account C refers D
Account D refers E

Does that mean the when A and B are grouped, they get 300% xp, B and C are grouped they get the 300% xp, C and D are grouped they get the 300% xp, and D and E are grouped they get the 300% xp. Does this mean my whole group will all have 300% xp or just the first two characters? I'm a little confused on this.

I linked my five accounts in exactly the same way, they all get 300% exp when grouped up :)

Oh, ok. Shouldn't take no time to get to lvl 20 and start AoE grinding deadmines lol.

I wonder if I'd be up for it at lvl 10 though. Since I'm going to be 5-boxing, anyone think I should try and run DM at level 10? Even if I don't go all the way through it still should be excellent XP, correct?

at least 90% would do it so , because it's the logical way to maximize you're RAF XP. and granted levels. if you want to maximize it to the top (it's a bit more expensive) then buy 6 Accs then level to different teams and 1 acc is just temporary and so on, everything can be found in the Wiki.

Five of the same class, will probably be the easiest for leveling and battlegrounds.
If you have aspirations towards clearing all heroic content, I'd recommend a tank type with four casters, as an optimal group.
Shaman's are liked a lot, because they can dps well and are capable healers, they have good armor and use shields too.
Down the road, you can respec one of your toons to restoration if you like.
Druids like shamans can dps and heal very well.

The group of tank + healer + 3x dps works quite well too.
In your later post you have 3x warlocks for the dps.
I personally like dps who can heal in a pinch, and having more ressurrection options for the group is nice too.
Not saying your group won't work well, for pve content it will go very well indeed.
Ultimately, its personal preference and goals for what you're doing.

If you're having fun, then you're doing it right.

Make sure to put a easy to level 2 group on E and D. That way you can group E,D tag with them, use a,b,c to help kill then as E and D go up a level they can grant to C who can grant to B who can grant to A. Unless you really want some alts then no need.

I normally spec my toons as Dranei, as they get "gift of the Nauru" which specs as quite a good "get out of jail free" healing spell when needed, as for rez, the group the OP is looking for has ample rez (Pally and Priest) and soulstones on the locks
