Maximizing an ati 2900 card

Been trying to get boxing on 1 pc going with a 6850 with 2gigs ram and a 2900 pro ati vga card (saphire). Too my utter amazement it runs smoothly, wasnt it for the constant screen flickering and tearing from the wow boxes.

Anybody else experiencing the same problems? I ran with 7.10 and 7.11 catalysts, and not being to handy with options for current gfx card no idea what to tinker with to try and get it goign (if possibile).

You may want to specify your OS, if solo or dual monitor, number of boxes, etc.

xp pro, 4 boxes (though the problem exists from 2 and higher). I do have dual monitor but all boxes are set to primary monitor
