not talking mixing them or anything else, if you had to pick just one hard drive what would you pick of the 4 and why?

300GB Western Digital VelociRaptor (10K RPM) (16MB Cache)
1TB Western Digital (7200 RPM) (16MB Cache) (SATA)
500gb Western Digital (7200 RPM) (16MB Cache) (SATA)
64GB Solid State (by: OCZ)

my guess (and it is only a guess) would be the "best" is the Solid state disk otherwise the 10k RPM

If you're only putting 1 hard drive in your computer, the 300GB Velociraptor is the best. You'll want fast reads and writes. If you already have a hard drive with your OS/apps in your computer and you're talking which would be the biggest upgrade to *add* to a computer for WoW, then an SSD, but just to host the /data directory.

*IF* you get a SLC SSD (very expensive.. minimum $500-600), then you'll get fast reads AND writes.. and that'll likely be better than a Velociraptor for all purposes.
