Hi, i am looking into dualboxing in WoW. I want to dual box priest/rogue first, then possibly change the classes later at 60. I am dumbstruck at how to get it going.

I am going to set up RAF on my new account and run two cilents on the same computer and use keyclone. I sort of figured out how to use keyclone but still am weary. How do i make macros so that i can autoaccept and complete quest on my new account without having to alt tab back and forth. Also tips on macros so that my new account can use a spell while my other uses a different spell (I.E rogue using SS and a priest using smite) Mostly i am just wondering how to get it going. I looked at the guides but they are very confusing. Could i use 1-5 on my rogue and 6-10 on my priest so that my rogue uses 1-5 and i use those for him and when i want to use my priest he uses 6-10? If anyone has tips on making macros for it for accepting quests and completing + rewards. Thanks, and if this post sounds weird i am just very excited but have no clue how to get it going. :)

First bit of advice: these forums and the wiki are full of tons of information, you need to slow down, dig in, and read. Read it all, and read some more. All the answers you need are here, but this forum is not to hold your hand and walk you through it all - you need to do the research and try things.

Okay, now that we have that out of the way...

The key to Multiboxing is: try it. That's all there is to it. Give it a shot - if it doesn't work, try something else! You need to be into tweaking and changing things and trying new things, to get the most out of MBing. There is no one way of doing things, we all figure out what works for ourselves, and share that info here. You can use whatever keys make sense to you - and don't be afraid to change them around. I've changed my keybindings just about everywhere you can - in instances, in battlegrounds, in flight, you name it! What i use is what works for me - you need to play your characters, and figure out what works for you.

Keep it simple.

Read the forums, and the wiki. They're there as your training manual. Then, when you've read it all, and tried it, then come back and ask if you don't get it.

Above all BE PATIENT. It's a blast when you get rolling, but it's going to take some work.

And have fun!

PS - the addon you want for quests is Samba. It's a little wonky to set up, but once you have it configured, it's a must-have, it makes your life in-game a lot easier.

PPS - Rogue/Priest works, but I would suggest you start with something easier, like two shaman, to get the hang of multiboxing. Melee, especially rogues, can be a little tricky!
