Hey everyone,
I just wanted to post a thread on how well this is going. I thought MBing melee's would be a huge nightmare, but its proving to be pretty easy. In addition to the well known /follow before any macro'd commands I have changed the movement setup. I unbinded the arrow keys on my main tank and healer (druid, more on that later) and now use them if my melee are too far from the current target. I researched the best /castsequence for each dps and tank from elitist jerks message board and it works surprisingly well with a /follow focus before the castsequence. Before I would delicately approach a new pull, now I just run in and jump around/spin/etc without worry.
I really like the druid for this setup as he can stand way back and heal OR he can be on /follow and I don't have to worry about interrupting a heal if I move the group around. I thought I would miss the shaman heals/totems, but DKs already have most of what shamans offer (minus the resist totems.) My druid doesnt run low on mana healing nonstop for quite a while, so I'm not too worried about not having a mana totem. Besides it would only benefit the druid and no one else in party. Anyways just wanted to let people know that this group is totally possible and I have cleared a few low level dungeons already (Ramps, BF both one shot - no wipes) and will work on some harder ones soon.

Yeah I've leveled up some DK's as well as now leveling 5 paladins, and it's really not that bad.
Could you share what macro you're talking about?? I haven't done the /follow with any of mine, but I just have my footpedal set to /follow and keep spamming it as I fight.

My main attack sequence is:
/assist focus
/follow focus
/castsequence reset=combat/10/target Icy Touch, Plague Strike, etc, etc ,etc
Now I normally use FTL system, but it proved too cumbersome and the macro's too long. This way the slaves assist and hit follow and then attack (making sure they are facing the right way and close enough).
I just spam this key throughout the fight and it works wonders.
For pvp I just made a few attacks seperate and using the FTL system so I could change leaders on the fly as they died.
example:
/target FTL system thingie-longassmacro
/follow
/cast [target=targettarget] Icy Touch

I've cleared 8 different 80 heroics with my 4x DKs with another person healing. It's a fun setup, nice change from all casters. I've done a couple with my shaman healing also, it's a level harder I'd say doing all 5.

Screw the follow command to have to spam or hit after every fight lol. Just dl jamba and set it to follow, u fight and once your done your slaves auto follow oh yea just like casters lol.

It's not for after the fight, it is for during the fight. When your toons first start melee combat, they stop following you. So you put this as part of your macro and it will keep your toons following you during the fight.

Ahhh ok i just have my slaves move forawrd using my g button. So if i pull with main i just hit g to get them ontop of main and if i get feared my = button has a /follow focus macro. So either way if i pull wrong i can get them ontop of main if main changes direction or we get feared my macro will bring them back or face them the way main is facing.

Another update: I have been doing the Nexus (my guys recently hit 70) and it has been okish. I no longer plow through instances and have to be very careful not to get adds. I was able to down all bosses except that bitch mage that AEs the shit out of my group. I thought of making all my slaves blood for the healing, but Im not sure the blood aura stacks anymore. Im disappointed that my druid is just unable to heal as fast as needed for this instance. After she throws us around (Im hotting everyone the whole time) I still end up with all slaves about 30% health. I just am unsure how I am supposed to keep a whole group alive on that ho. I'll probably just skip her for now until I figure out something else.

You might want to try your specs with Rune Tap, and then get the glyph that also heals the party. You'll go from 30% to like 70% with 1 button instantly. And you can do it every 30 seconds. Your dps might go down a tiny bit, but it's well worth it imo.
also, when she AOE's use your AMS. She's really easy for me now, probably the easiest boss in there.
here's my spec: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gorefiend&n=Sweetqq for the 3x dps
tank is: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gorefiend&n=Sweettear

Its too bad they removed the cower on death and decay. I multiboxed a few DKs and would cast D&D AOEs and the mobs literally would not stop cowering :p
Ever thought about having your team focus more around AOEing than DD spells/attacks?

AOEing is great and all, but its crap dps on bosses =(
FYI I cleared UK today at 72. I could have done it at 71, but my druid healing macros needed help. Now that Im more confident in my "oh-shit" healing ability I can do more difficult encounters. Although I am getting burned out on WoW lately.
