I failed with search so I'm just going to ask. What are some of the multibox friendly instances to run at 80. I either use 1 paladin and 4 shamans or 1 paladin, 3 shamans and 1 warlock.

Aren't most of those non level 80 instances? I'm in no shape to do heroic instances.

Oh so you are looking for level 80 NORMAL dungeons... hmm I think Halls of Lightning is 80, but not positive. It's pretty easy once you run it a few times you can do it in your sleep, also it has a trinket that your paladin will REALLY want on the last boss (+def trinket).

I would disagree that HoL is an easy level 80 dungeon.

Easiest is probably culling of stratholme out of the actual level 80 dungeons. To me, Heroic Gundrak is easier than regular HoL (except maybe the last boss of heroic gundrak).

What do you mean with that comment about killing 2 toons?

Well I assume hes level 80 and if he's level 80 then he should be able to almost one shot the instance. I walked in there having read NO strategies and downed it first time with only one wipe (since I didnt know the elementals were nature immune.) I would call that easy. Now if I had gone in there and wiped and wiped until I quit, well that would be hard. CoS is a good suggestion though, that one I didnt wipe in either.

I've only ran HoL once just the other day to finish 3 quests (I haven't done heroic yet). I'm heroic geared and can down Gundrak, DTK, UK, CoS on heroic really fast and easy with no deaths, and I still found regular HoL a bit difficult - enough that I thought "Wow...on Heroic this would be insane". I will have to try it again though.

actually the difference from normal to heroic isnt that much different. Once you have your strats down you have the hard part done. I would say the hardest part of this dungeon is the nature immune mobs and getting them killed on heroic without your tank dying (and you wiping.) The last boss was thought to be really hard, but I just timed my chain heals for 1 sec before he cast his AE (he has a cast bar) and stacked them on top of tank. Now if you dont have enough health on your slaves to survive the AE, well then this will be a hard instance :D

Thanks for all the input. I'm freshly 80 with hardly any gear outside of quests greens/blues. I didn't run any instances leveling to 80 so I doubt very seriously i'm going to be able to do any heroics. I'm basically trying to find the instances I can gear up in for both the paladin tank and the shamans.

Gear in pre-heroic instances is pretty bad. You will be far better off running dailies to make money and then gearing up by buying crafted epics. I started out by getting my DK a titansteel destroyer, tempered titansteel treads, titanium earthguard chain, titanium earthguard ring, daunting handguards/legplates and some tempered saronite gear. Then I bought my shamans titansteel guardians. As I got more money I added on - revenant's breastplate, revenant's treads, titanium spellshock rings, etc.

This let me jump straight into heroics without too many issues.

Well then I would definitely recommend the +def trinket you get from Halls of Lightning. It's one of the best trinkets in that it makes choices of gear upgrades easier to stomach when the +def on the item is less than the item you are wearing. Funny thing is I got so sick of running HoL that I still havent got it for my paladin tank. Ran it 6 times and never got the dang thing, havent been back since as it makes my stomach turn to run a dungeon that I dont get emblems or much rep from =(

You can do easy heroics with bad gear, just stick to places like UK etc. Pointless running non-heroic instances.
