Hi, all. The queues of late generate one good thing: more reading of posts here while and... er, two good things, more writing of posts here.
I'm new, and I'll maybe write something more of my process later on, but so far this is what I am, according to helpful people who see my 5 chars standing in town:
Chinese Farmer
Multiboxing DK skum
A person who has no life
A person who did not actually see another human face-to-face that day, or even recently
I live in basement
The basement is my parents
I should 'get a job'
The beautiful thing is many of those came from some poor soul who couldn't afford the get the WotLK expansion, so he's 'happy' running level 70 content today. There may some jealousy about!
Understand you are playing a game with a bunch of children and supposed adults with very bad social skills. It'll save you much stress.
I get told that I live in a basement a lot. Easy to respond with "I live in the attic, its warmer."

Would have to say grin and bear it. That is about all you can do....there are SOME that will like what you do. Especially when the need help on a quest or are getting camped. ;(
My fav thing to do is to ask for an invite with just one then roll 5. A.A. Meetings FTW!

P.S. AA meetings for the alli = Attitude Adjustment :whistling:

lol my guide name for everquest was "Iceorbz the Attitude Adjuster"...
I took care of most of the hostile petitions on kill stealing, harrassement or guild vs. guild fighting for raid mobs lol... so much fun and so much drama lol.

I wish I had no job and lived in my parents basement....life would be so much easier.
I multibox because I have no time, have a life, have a job and money and have little patience for drama and temper tantrums.

Absolutely! Multiboxing appears to be about to solve the biggest problem I've had in the game -- finding a sufficient supply of capable, willing people to group with :)
Unfortunately, while I had several developed chars, I had no tank.... which made made Fa-la-la-Ogri-la .... shear pain at Xmas. And which is why I'm running 5xDK as my first Multibox group.
Just let the Automatic Goblin Therapist take the strain...

Ah yes, I can fully sympathise with you on this one!
I only started a few days ago and have already been accused of pretty much everything on your list. Still, its not all bad, for every 4-5 abusive players I do encounter 1-2 friendly and inquisitive people. Its always nice to have a chat with them and explain how easy it was to get started. I have pointed quite a few people to this site so hopefully its a case of "a few more of us and a few less of them"
Note: I am in full time employment (very well paid too!), have a pretty decent social life, live in a brilliant house with all the mod-cons, drive a really nice car, I'm not Chinese (Scottish actually) and see people face to face every day! When accused of the list mentioned above I just laugh contentedly, /wave to the troll and go about my business.
Life is too short and there are too many mobs/quests to be done! :P
I multibox because I have no time, have a life, have a job and money and have little patience for drama and temper tantrums.
I think I might quote that line in my sig. :)

I've started quin-boxing just recently and have been called almost everything on that list. Except, the funniest one I've seen yet, was when a guy kept running around me and calling my alts glitches. He ran around and spammed it until I started doing the Zalzane quest (he even swam to the island with me). Shows how... unintelligent (a nice word for it :P) some of Blizzards customers are.
However, I did link the site to about six different people who seemed quite interested in multiboxing. It's nice to meet the people who are not below the age of six. It was pretty funny though, when a guy was killing some trolls down by Zalzane and he saw me, he just said "Wow, first time I haven't seen five Shamans." and just ran off :). Gotta love my 4x Hunter 1x Pally team, amazing DPS :).
