i actually have a human female DK...
i tried to make her somewhat cute like my other chars
but her eyes just creep me the f' out, especially standing in the shadows

gnomes should be fine though
they're pretty creepy to begin with =p

Personally dwarfs/gnomes are my favorite races; my Dk squad is 2 dwarfs/3 gnomes but.. one thing that may/may not affect you.. when you start fighting mobs in PvE I honestly can't tell wtf they are?! they're so small that they disappear inside everyone.. makes it kinda hard to follow what's going on. I thought about rerolling nelfs/drens for height but at 70 I don't think I can relevel..

Thought if you plan to PvP that actually might be a good thing as your opponents won't be able to tell how many of you there are exactly.. :)

I'm glad i'm not the only one that hates gnomes. those twitchy little crank addicts can't even take their own home back. the alliance got the dirty end of the stick when they got there races.

Horde Death Knights need a new ability:

Death Punt
5 yd range
Instant

Harness the unholy energy that surrounds all matter, propelling the target gnome up to 30 yards away from the Death Knight. When applied immediately after Death Grip, applies the Unholy Football buff to the Death Knight, removing the cool down on Death Grip.

Gnomes... hmm.. that's a challenge !!
but have you consider the melee range of the gnome 2H weapons ? I don't know if there is a difference between races but I read somewhere that taurens have a 9 yards melee range ... what about gnomes ?

huh, what i heard was that taurens have a bigger hit box
but i assumed it's normalized because it'd be a bit unfair otherwise

I believe tauren do have an extended meelee range.. it's unfair, yes. :)
