Hello all,
Just looking for some advice from people in similar situations. I am just getting into dual boxing in Warcraft, but was an avid boxer in Everquest.
I love pet classes and figured what's better than one but two. So, I chose hunter and warlock. I'm not sure how well this would work, but the initial spark that led to this line of thinking was:
I wanted to level on a new server using RAF, essentially leaching and autofollowing a second character. Well, I figured one-step further could simply be making a macro to send both pets in, so
at the very least the warlock could contribute a little.
This would allow me the 1.5x exp from kills and 300% bonus from questing. Some things that bother me are difficulty in accepting quests on both accounts, would there be a simpler way or which program would be useful?
I'm wading through pages here and there is a overwhelming amount of data here for new people such as myself.
I'm not looking to accomplish anything spectacular, but I enjoy farming, collecting herbs, tradeskilling and the like. I probobly won't make it into 25 mans ever, and wouldn't want to with both characters, but for my own solo endeveaors...
Any pro-tips or advice for someone such as myself? Any class synergize more with hunter? Again pets and ranged classes are my favorites.
My computer is sufficiently capable of running two accounts or I have a laptop I could setup next to me, haven't decided which would be most beneficial.
Any criticism welcome, I have thick skin. And thanks in advance, I'm glad I was referred here.
Jasen.

1. get two hunters. or two warlocks. thing is, the buffs you get as a hunter will benefit physical dps. the buffs you get as a warlock will benefit magical dps. unless you plan on spamming arcane shot with your hunter, or rely on the felguard as a main dps contributer, i would suggest having two of the same class.
2. macro to assist would go like this.
/assist party1
(slave will target whatever your main is targeting)
/petattack
(after slave targets whatever main is targeting, pet will attack whatever slave is targeting)
3. get JAMBA, found in the Macros and Addons section of this forum to ease yourself in the quest accepting, taxi and merchant chores.
4. you need a program to send keystrokes to both windows at once. they can be found in the wiki.

A late thanks for replying. And I'm absolutely glad I was shown this website.
I decided to run four (maybe convinced five) accounts, after leveling my initial hunter warlock to 45.
So, I loaded up three shaman and a paladin, spent several hours learning keyclone, jamba, scripting, etc. I'm convinced I love running my own group.
Which leads me to my questions: I have no experience past 70 and in heroic instances. I'm -very- indecisive about classes. But what I want to do endgame
would be run my own instances, farm loot / shard crap, mindless pve farming and tradeskilling. I don't believe I would be coordinated enough to be successful in pvp,
but that doesn't concern me.
Ideally, what four characters can do the most intensive heroics / bossses, etc? Warlock and hunter both still appeal to me for pets/range/dots, etc. The information I have seen is dated
and makeups like five shaman don't seem to be getting as much publicity as before. I'm willing to try some combinations out, but even after reading the composition threads nothing really cliqued with me.
How big a hit would only playing four be versus five in certain situations? Having one slot open for a pug or friend has it's benefits, too.
Just looking for some suggestions and reassurance, I guess. Thanks again.

Hello if you are new to boxing and are thinking of RAF levelling multiple accounts I would just go with 4 hunters,or 4 warlocks.
The reason is cost you want your first RAF team to be as cheap and easy to lvl as possible, easp if you have no real starting gold on your server,(Beast Mastery or Demonology are imho the best and easiest to lvl).
With Hunters you get Aspect of the Pack and Tracking, which is a blessing. With the Warlock you get an (almost free) mount at 30 which is important in saving gold, and speeding up running around levelling.
Only buy the bare essentials skills for levelling and get them to 60.
Once at 60 rest them and do your second team, which should be a Death Knight Team.the reason for this? all DK come boxfresh with complete flight points for Azeroth. Get these to 60 and use them for flying to new areas and summoning your next 1-60 team (grabbing new FPoints along the way).
Again level these to 60 and rest them.
Your third team should be a Warlock team here you get the utility for Summoning(with soulstone ofc) wherever you want, level them to 60 along the way get them ported to Dalaran and set your Inn there, once in Dalaran port all your previous team there and set their stones at the Inn,(this saves alot of time getting about WoW).
Now your fourth team could be a Shaman team imo the best if you want to do Heroics in the future.
Lastly you want a fifth team my personal favourite here would a Moonkin Druid Team, you get the choice of stealth, massive AoE synergy with your Shaman team spell crit/ tanking ect.
So all in all you have properly levelled 4 teams and have stored RAF levels enough to boost 2 characters all the way from 1-60.
Personally I would create 2 new characters 1 shaman 1 paladin and Raf grant them both to 60,once at 60 get your 5th account and transfer them both over, and create a new DK.
So you should now have.
4xHunters 60 (rested xp)
5xDK 60 (resting xp)
4xWarlocks (resting xp)
5xShamans (resting xp)
4xDruids (resting xp)
1xPaladin Tank (resting xp)
I know if your new this probably seems like alot of teams to level but once you get a few runs to 60 under your belt it takes about 2-3 days played to 60 teams prob a bit less if its only 4.
The best thing about having a good array of teams is to rotate them 60-70 for rested xp. Done right you should never really have to come off a blue bar when doing it this way,and so in total speeds things up tremendously.
Another tip would be if you can spare it on your main hunter is to grab skinning and leatherworking and on you Warlock team Powerlevel your Tailoring and Enchanting to make both Netherweave bags and disenchant all the loot you saved from your Hunter 1-60.
Getting from 70-80 is another matter entirely and given a choice I would always go for running a Shaman team through although from what i'm reading from the forums 5xblood DK are tearing up instances as well,so its up to you,but you will need a team capable of Tanking Heroics for gear and gold.
I currently run 5xDK's and love them to bits but I really miss the utilily of Shamans.
I hope this isn't too much information, and I hope you enjoy MB as much as everyone else GL :)
