4x DKs clear Heroic UK & UP

Wow, it wasn't easy, and I had my pally friend, Tokov, healing. I had one DK tanking, and the other three DPSing. UK wasn't too bad, just one wipe on the last boss. UP was several wipes on the 3rd boss. One wipe on the last boss.

It's not too bad to melee, just takes a slightly different strategy.

I did get the Tanking sword, so I guess I'll spec my DK tank to dual wield!

Should have given it to your pally friend as duel wield DK tanking aint all that given duel wield = more parry haste on boss = harder to heal tank. But grats anyways, how did you make it past Skadi event? I am curious how you could survive his whirlwind since you have to get in range to melee him. That WW should gib your guys pretty quick.

I was reading up about dual wield tank spec, and you're right, it doesn't look too viable right now. I did get the crit trinket though, which is really nice for DK dps.

For the Skadi event, once you shoot him down you have the tank in front of the boss, your 3 melee dps behind him. Once he starts to do the WW, you hit the "everyone move back key", which is bound to a mouse button for me. This makes the tank move back in one direction, and the melee move back in the other. Once everyone starts moving back, the tank taunts Skadi and everyone continues to move back. So it gets everyone out of the way of the WW, and the tank eats it.

Nice work mon and grats, have you tried any BGs/WG yet sense hitting 80?Thanks! I had to respec PvE so I could do decent DPS, but I do BGs as much as I can, I do pretty well, but would do much better with a PvP spec which gives me Anti Magic Shield.

Damn I was hoping you were going to tell me that with the armor on your dks it really wasnt an issue =(

I hate this event, it really is the bane of my boxing. Have tried it countless times on my pal 4 shaman group and I *almost* make it everytime.... almost.. /cry
