Man I didn't think of that. I hate these mounts but to generate QQ it might be fun to buy em. I already have 100 shards might as well just save up and get them since I have nothing else I want to buy with shards!

I've had mine for a month now and cant stand them. They are cool at first but there are so many places in the world where they get stuck ( too big ). I'm using my bears again.

I have 5 of them on my first 5 and will get 5 more for the second set using shards earned from instances. I like the fact that these mounts are so big that almost no river in Azeroth will dismount them. Definitely good to have this kind of mount for that reason.

1 mount on a mailbox is a problem... 1 mount on every mailbox in dalaran is a larger problem.. sam and prepared need to get these on all chars and totally block a city. no mailbox, no bankers, no FP, so many cruel things you could do!

Yes that is awesome, The winter outfits are a nice touch. I am also getting a LOTR feel from it. That is if Frodo and Sam were riding those oliphants(or whatever they called them)

Like people said, watch out for thoose temp bans! :)

And its actually the biggest mounts i have least problems with since its pretty easy to just zoom in while its ALOT harder when there is 4-5 smaller mount stacked covering every bloody part of a mailbox! :P

It's actually really easy to get these if you just do heroics for a few weeks. Unless your faction is useless in PVP, you'll get tons of shards.

Ya I already collected 500 shards per character and we pretty much suck at WG on my server (allies have the buff most of the time.)

lol someone is selling belt of tasseled lanterns for 230g... ya I just shard/vendor most dungeon blues as they are usually inferior to items people got leveling up with quests.

How come one mount is larger than others? Is it the vendor mount?

and how to get so much of these when the opposite faction get the buff over and over ?

They all had firewater on, only explanation is that my dk is human and rest is draenei...and somehow that affects the size even in gnome form.

On my server (Blackrock) horde control wintergrasp more than 50% of the time, and every heroic nets 12-20 shards so after a few weeks of just running one heroic a day gives a ton.

I've also been playing Wintergrasp 3-4x a day the last week, if you pickup the 3 daily quests you get a few extra shards too.
