Hey guys,

After reading the forums for a while and watching those awesome multibox-pwnage-videos, i decided try it out :)

Here's my Problem: Maximizer won't do anything! I have 2 WoW Folders at the moment, because I'm dualboxing. So i copied the Maximizer.exe and the Maximizer.ini in both folders.

Since i only have 1 Monitor at the Moment, i want to do a 50/50 split. One Window on the top, one at the bottom. My Resolution is 1024x768, so i changed the value for margin to:

margin = 384,0,0,0

In the WoW1 folder, for the bottom window, and to

margin = 0,384,0,0

In the WoW2 folder, for the top window.

Then i changed both values for the resolution (in the config.wtf) to 1024x384.

If i click on one of those Maximizer.exe's, my WoW window opens in the Middle of the screen, with a resolution of 1024x384, but with taskbar, and, as i said, in the middle of the screen, not on top or bottom. So basically, Maximizer did NOTHING. It's the same result as if i would start the WoW.exe without Maximizer.

And here comes the tricky part: If i open a second WoW window and then close one of them, Maximizer suddenly removes the taskbar of the window which is still open, and puts it at the bottom, right there where i want it. But this happens only if i open a 2nd window and then close one of them!

Wtf?

I made a video of it and uploaded on Rapidshare and Youtube. Here are the links:

Youtube link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ6T45mwgKM)(poor quality, really really bad!)

Rapidshare link (http://rapidshare.com/files/73064513/Wowmaxizmizer.wmv.html)(8 MB but a nice quality :) )

(I'm starting the maximizer's with desktop shortcuts (WoW1,WoW2), just in case you wonder why i'm not clicking on the maximizer.exe.)

I believe the format for Maximizer is top,bottom,left,right. Should be something like this.

WoW1 margin = 0,384,0,1024
WoW2 margin = 384,768,0,1024

No idea what taskbar issues you are talking about, but I have only read about Maximizer, haven't used it personally.

no, it is the space outside of the viewable window you define so your commands are correct

I think you need to lose the spaces.

also try adding --margin=0,384,0,0 to the commandline for your shortcuts, this will override any errors in your ini file.

also try using a batch file, it makes life simpler honest ;)

I tried a batch file, but if i click it, 1 of my 2 wow's start, and then nothing happens until i close the first wow window, then the batch file opens WoW2.exe...

I can't explain why maximizer does this.. I mean, I would maybe understand if maximizer won't work completely, but i don't know why the fuck it only works if i open 2 WoW's and then close one o_O

Ok I will post my batch file when I get home... it is a very similar layout to yours so should help you.
