Ok, guys and gals... my boss has given me an awesome project.
We're moving to a new network operations center and I have to build the video wall. We currently own 6 42-inch screens and the boss wants to buy four more.
These will be placed in a two row configuration with 5 on each row.
Ok, so the hardware part is not a problem. Just buy screens, computers with lots of PCI slots and a bunch of dual-port cards.
Now my question here is how to I control all those monitors (spanning stuff, placing graphics, etc). From all the research I've done, Ultramon seems to be the best (and it's really cheap). Is there anything else I should be looking at?
I'm asking here because you guys are the masters of multi monitor set ups.
Oh yes, the first thing we'll do after setting this up will be to multibox :)
