I finally did Heroic Halls of Lightning.... I can't believe how easy it was.
First boss is truely a tank and spank killing adds first. The key is to wait until he doesn't have a charge on him before attacking.
he does a spin thing that I thought did zero damage to my tank. no stacking bleed affects, etc.
second boss was just as easy, spread team out some in a box formation and I drop fire elementals once he's called for adds.
third boss, again use a box formation with the healer being farthest from the boss. when he spiders I switch to my healer screen and just heal thru it. no movement on anyone including tank. I think I used healing stream totems x4 once the fist spiders are out. The farther you can tank from your team the longer it takes for the spiders to travel to your alts.
last boss, set team up standard follow of the tank at 4 o'clock to the boss. pull and tank boss next to shaman. when the deadly boss mods raises the raid warning about him casting his nuke I step back about 3-4 paces ( at most the size of one of the floor tiles ) and nobody takes any damage. resto shaman only has to do a few chain heals on herself to keep the team topped off and minor heals on the tank.
I guess the best part about all 4 fights is that you really don't have to move your team except for the last fight and you don't have to move very much. aggro on the alts seems to be minimal.

Could you like maybe make a quick diagram because I was not for the life of me able to beat Loken.

If you've got the hit points (my dps toons are at about 17k buffed), you dont have to run at all at Loken. Drop a nature resist totem and just stand at his feet (cause of his aura which deals more damage if you are far away from him). Keep everyone at full health. As soon as he casts his lightning nova, heal everyone back up (self heals, lots of chain-heals etc, whatever you've got available) and DPS again. Quite easy this way.

i run up to the steps just before loken with my shaman team on follow and make note of how far my pally is from the team ( he will stay that distance from the team through out the fight )
I usually come in at a 4 oclock angle so that I'm not backing down any stairs when I back up.
I drop my totems and include a nature resistance totem in that group, if you need to include the 4x healing totems you can.
i'm usually out of range for the pally to pull so I have him run forward a little to pull and run back to the same spot he left the team from.
I have deadly boss mods so when I get the raid warning that he's going to blow, I back up about the size of one of the squares on the floor, 4 steps maybe, it's not that far.
I didn't survive the blow up when I just stood there because I only have about 14.5k health.
you could start a group heal as soon as you've stepped back just in case the team takes dmg.
my healer usualy does nothing ( no part time DPS ) so that if I ask for a heal on the tank or a group heal (chain heal on herself) I get one immediately.
my group heal or panic button is the numpad-5 where all shaman cast chain heal on themselves, if I tap it once usually only the healer is ready to cast ( the dps are already casting dps ) and I get a chain heal from her on herself ( but if more of them do the chain heal it's ok ) I top off the team this way for when they take dmg from other means.

Everyone over complicates loken heh. Don't move, stack on the boss and make sure you have NR totem down. When you see a lightning nova being cast, start casting chain heals. One round of chain heals will immediately retop your groups hp, go back to dpsing. Usually I don't even stop DPS now, my 1 resto guy can heal through the nova's no problem, especially with lust running which is usually the case the entire fight since he does die very quickly using this strat. Nova's will do about 12-13k with NR totem down, anyone in lvl 80 items ( even blues ) can take that. Also stacking directly under the boss will cause you to take 0 aura dmg as well.

I think my position is probably the problem. I never died from nova at all, close but I never would, it was the aura (Even though I was close it still did considerable damage). Positioning and maybe having a chain heal cast on my resto shammy would do the trick (Because I always got him like like 75000hp everytime.

I pretty much tank them with the pally and let him do most of the damage while all I do with the shammies is drop Fire Nova and Magma Totems FTW.

Do you train them all the way through? I notice that respawn is fast on them, so I train them over to stairs(this was on normal, havent bothered with heroic yet) and then let loose the AEs. Not sure this would work on heroic as Im sure they hit harder.

Those are the rock guys before the 2nd boss, and you are right train a bunch up 3/4ths of the way thru the stairs (no healing, earth shields, etc) and then kill one at a time healing after each one dies.
For the nature guys just use flame shock/lava burst/etc liberally, its a bit painful. I kill the big elemental one first, then the little ones, then the revenant. They are immune to nature damage so you have to use fire/frost instead. Ionar herself is NOT immune to nature damage so everything works fine there.
BTW Onyxia is immune to fire damage iirc so if you go back and do her put only lightning bolt in your spam button :)

When training the elementals through that room to the stairs I ended up with some aggro on my slaves the only time I tried this on normal. It didn't end well.
Do you all just have the slaves on follow when doing this? I'm wondering if I did something wrong the first time.
Thinking of trying to farm the killer def trinket from Loken now that I'm 80 and a bit better geared.

I also had the trouble of slaves getting aggro from the elementals before I finished walking. So mostly I drop down a concecration about 1/3 into the room to get some initial aggro on me, then run through until the stairs and group them up there. It mostly works fine. Sometimes 1 or elemental go for the slaves but that is easy to handle.

For DKs you can also use unholy blight which lasts the entire path through and follows you, so it will keep the aggro through the whole room.

Frapsed the room last night, sadly i forgot to fraps the first boss and started frapsing half way into the Loken fight. I will try to go back today and complete all the takes!
