Hi...I am new here, new to boxing WoW, but I used to 3-6 box EQ, so I'm familiar with boxing mechanics. I am looking for advice related to gameplay that I think is more suited to ask here than other forums.

Currently, I'm just 2-boxing a human paladin and a human warlock (lvl 31 atm for both) on a PVE server. I'm speccing the paladin to be protection and am demonology so far on the warlock. As the warlock isn't going to be played without the paladin, should I go for affliction or destruction for DPS? This is the highest level warlock and paladin that I've had, but I do have a 57 Troll shaman that I've played off and on since the game came out, but I've played EQ a lot more than WoW (and last played the shaman when BC first came out) and the warlock talent tree seems to be oriented more as solo to me. As I'll be always 2-boxing and the paladin as my "main", I'm not sure how to go with the warlock talents.

Any advice will be appreciated.

destruction warlocks -> Burst DMG but needs lots of mana

demonology warlocks -> same as beastmaster hunter (use wand to get the mob down while your demon tanks + attacks the target)

affliction warlocks -> a lot of damage over time but no burst dmg.

If you're wanting to tank with a pet, go demonology with enough affliction to get insta-corruption, imp. life drain and imp. life tap.

If you're wanting to tank with the pally, I'd go affliction and get insta-corruption, imp. life drain and imp. life tap along with the other DoT damage talents.

I personally like the demonology line for soul link, good pets, mana feed and the extra damage from master demonologist.
