My setup is:
Paladin (tank and main character)
Priest (healer)
2x Mage
Warlock

its the healing im most worried about and i cant get figured out how to "automate" it. Im still only lvl 50 but im prepairing for lvl 70 as im boosting very quickly through the levels.

basically the priest needs todo:
- Shield
- Renew
- Mega-super-heal
- dispell (decursing happens with the mage)
- Flash heal
- Prayer of mending

thats i think.. logical. dispelling and alike are on the lowest priority, as they will not be used alot.

My main issue i forsee it targetting in combination with the right spell.
yes ofcourse i can make it that the priest just puts greater heals on my MT (pally) all the time, but that just wont do.

Healbot addon would be nice, but mouseover only works when you are playing that char, and the priest will just be on /follow.

So i thought about the following. a warning addon:
Whenever something happens (someone cursed, someone getting dmged) i will get buttons popping up on my mains screen.
And when i click them, my priest will target the right person and preform the right action.
it would be even better if that addon can even prioritise things.

like a row off buttons popping up:
first says [ heal tank ]
second [ dispell mage ]
third [ shield tank ]
4th [ heal tank ]

and suddenly when you just dispelled the mage (step 2) the tank gets stunned and the boss goes to the healer. and he needs to shield himself. then the addon would see the priest loosing health, and pops up to the front [shield priest] and then [renew priest]
or something like that.

Then when i click the button it will broadcast some strange key-combo which i wont use on any other char so it will do what is wanted.
keycomba like LCTRL+numpad 9 or something like that.

does such addon exsist, i doubt it.

i mean i doubt an addon exsists who can prioritise.

are there addons which can just popup buttons when certain criteria are met.
(low mana = button use mana potion)
(Curse = decurse)
(healh below 70% = shield and renew)
(Change off target off the boss ( /focus) = /assist focus shield+renew)

MT healing will be a general macro ill be using for the others i need special macro's/addon

I have a very similar party (pala, priest, mage, 2x warlocks). The tank is the 'master' and everyone else is a 'slave'. Here's how I handle healing/debuffs:

NUM7 = Renew target
NUM8 = GHeal target
NUM9 = FHeal target
NUM4 = PW:S target
NUM5 = PoH
NUM6 = Abolish Disease target
NUM+ = PoMending target

NUM0 = target tank macro (by name)
NUM. = target priest macro (by name)
NUM1 = target mage
NUM2 = target warlock1
NUM3 = target warlock2

So I use the numpad to control the priest targeting and healing. It's pretty compact and covers everything I need. I use Trinity Bars to bind the macros directly without occupying a button bar, but that's up to you.

Of course, I suggest that whatever unit frame addon you use indicates party member targets so you can see who the priest is currently targeting. That said, I almost never look at that. I just leave it on the tank by default and switch priest targets when needed.

It works really well for me. I usually just hit the proper priest targeting key automatically before any heal because I don't have to think about anything.

Note that you will need to UNBIND NUMLOCK from autorun to keep from screwing yourself (I use F12 to autorun, but it can be whatever).

Well I don't know of an add on that will manage all your heals and decurses but I'm running a Pal tank(main) and 4 Priests and this is how i manage my healing/dispelling. I heal 2 diffrent ways but the keys are the same. One will heal your focus's target and one will heal will heal what ever member you push the key for. For decursing i use Decursive and have made the blocks bigger on my followers so if i need to i can look over and click them easily. It dosen't matter much that they are big beacuse i don't have to look at their screens for much anyway. Having decursive on your main Just know the colors and click on what class's screen that can dispell it.

These may be a little off since I'm at work but it will give a genral adea you can work with.

For the Assist heal macro: (Target with main and wait 1 sec before clicking)

#showtooltip
/assist focus
/cast [modifier:Alt] Greater Heal
/cast [modifier:Ctrl] Power Word: Shield
/cast [modifier:Shift] Renew
/cast Flash Heal

You can also make a macro for each toon :(this is faster cause ytou don't have to wait for the server to get your main's target before you cast)
#showtooltip
/cast [target=toon1,modifier:Alt] Greater Heal
/cast [target=toon1,modifier:Ctrl] Power Word: Shield
/cast [target=toon1,modifier:Shift] Renew
/cast [target=toon1] Flash Heal

#showtooltip
/cast [target=toon2,modifier:Alt] Greater Heal
/cast [target=toon2,modifier:Ctrl] Power Word: Shield
/cast [target=toon2,modifier:Shift] Renew
/cast [target=toon2] Flash Heal

I have these set to my F1, F2, F3, F5, F6, (skip Alt+F4 lol) one for each toon.

rofl.

Do you have 'accidents'? I know I would.

This is sort of like at work, I have emacs (a text editor) aliased to 'em'... sometimes i slip and hit 'rm' and erase instead of editing a file. Times like that you are thankful for a good source management system.

I had a problem when i first wrote the macros beacuse i was thinking about how to write the macro and not about windosw shortcut keys. I had just started 5 boxing and i was doing it on 1 comp so i thought that maybe i was overloading and it would cause one of my WoW Windows to close. Then when it dawned on me what happened i laughed at myself for a while. But no i don't have accidents mainly beacuse after that i think about the key too much to make the mistake again. Besides i have to think of the toon that needs healed then hit his key. I like the F keys better than the numberpad cause you can use the keyboard hand and not have to take your hand off the mouse/movement keys.

Mostly i heal with Renew x4, it will probaly change when i get shadow form but hopefully by then i can keep my tank up with VE x4 and not have to worry about healing unless there is a problem. But then flash heal x4 is a sexxy complete heal in 1.5 sec's.

I actually use the same macros... but I DO use F4 - I simply don't allow "Alt" in my Macros-

I use
nomodifier
modifier:shift,ctrl
modifier:shift
modifier:ctrl

Since my party is always in the same order, and my UI shows the party horizontally, it is really intuitive to heal. On my tank (my main) I see:
Priest, Warlock, Mage2, Mage1 (I honestly don't know why it chose this order, but it is always this order). So, I simply set F1 to heal the priest, F2 the Warlock, F3 Mage2, F4 Mage1, F5 heals the Tank and F6 heals the Warlocks pet (which is often my offtank). I chose F5 as my tank's heal because it is so easy to find on the keyboard without looking.

I hadn't thought about using shift,ctrl. I might add that one in later if i need another spell on that key. But i can't give up alt it's the easiest modifier to hit without moving your hand all that much. Macro space is very valuble as you level up. I think in the end i'm going to have to all my macros with full modifier keys.

It wouldn't work for me when i had [modifier:ctrl,alt] but i found that lalt, ralt, crtrl, lctrl work just fine and that gives more than enough assignments to a single key to be near the 255 cap.

On a side note i bound dispel magic on all 4 priests to my judgment key on my pally so i can remove full raid buffs instantly at the start of a fight.
