from the website:
"SanDisk G3 SSDs stand to get five times as fast as the fastest 7,200 RPM HDDs, clocking in at up to 40,000 vRPM ('http://www.driveyourlaptop.com/sandisk-technical-expertise-and-metrics') and anticipated sequential performance of 200MB/s read and 140MB/s write." our usage is like 99% reads, so the write times don't matter as much.
only problem... this is an OEM device. (i have been told you can get it for $249 to the OEM)
thoughts?
