Hey all,

Currently I'm having a few issues with 2 boxing a Ret pally combo. I have pally b on follow mode via my follow macro. The issues begin when I go to attack a mob. I am currently using keyclone (which is amazing!) and have macros setup on Pally B to correspond to Pally A. When I go to attack a mob, Pally B usually ends up out of distance of the mob and I usually end up pulling him back to Pally B. Other times, I have to run all the way in with both guys and have the mob engage me. What happens here is Pally B then gets turned around and can't attack. Is there any way to solve this? Currently I'm using the /assist name macro.

Thanks,

-Kramer

There are probably several ways to do this but I leveled a team of rogues to 60 and found a lot of the times I would run to the mob then just past it to make it turn around and my other 4 would be in range to chew his backside off. Or, you can run towards it until you get aggro then with the main just step back a bit and wait for the mob to come to you.

Basically, once auto attack starts, and for a melee toon it will as soon as you click any attack ability, auto follow breaks.
It is what makes boxing more then one melee toon more difficult then just using ranged classes.

If you wait until both toons are in melee range with the mob, before the slaves start to fight, that will solve the issue.
If the slave has the same attack key as the master toon, then pressing an attack on either will put them both into combat, which breaks follow.
If this is the case, either don't attack until they're both in range or give the slave a delay (comma) before the first attack... so you main tags the mob while your slave toon does nothing on the first keystroke.

When I'm dual boxing I use WASD to control my main and the arrow keys to contol my second toon. Then for melee combat I run up using the mouse to control things then just give a poke to the arrow key to bring the second toon into range.

I found that my B toon is still facing and following the direction of my A toon while in combat. Is there a way to avoid this?

How do i enable it so only the second toon moves with the arrow keys?

My solution is to use Jamba and follow strobe. The strobe allows you to keep auto attacking and adjust location of mob or followers.

Really? would that allow me to still use keyclone? where can i get both and what does each do?
