Hello,

I'm assuming most of people here leveling up with RAF benefits, which include summon a friend feature once every hour. I would like to highlights all the creative ways to use these to your advantage. Please share more if you can think of any. I'm mostly dual-boxing, so I don't know if these scenarios can be extended to 3, 4, or 5 boxing.

1. Fast long distance transportation. Say on account A you have high level main X, lowbie Y and on account B you have lowbie Z. Y and Z are questing together, and they need to move from ashenvale to hillsbrad, and they don't have silverpine flightpaths. To save the long walk:
A hearths to shatt/dalaran, takes portal to UC, flies to hillsbrad
A summons Z
A logs out, Y logs in.
Z summons Y.

What if Z's summon is on cooldown? Create a level 1 character on account B, named W.
A summons W
W summons Y
Y summons Z.

Any of your level 1 bank toons can help with these summons too.
Also, if there's a mage in your group with sufficient portal spells, you can be even more creative

2. double hearths
with Y and Z having summons and hearths, they can take turn hearthing and summoning, this way you can hearth once every 30 mins

3. Creating a bank alt quickly
Create a level 1 toon
level 1 toon summoned to IF or OG
level 1 toon sets his hearth there
level 1 toon can then help with chain-summons as outlined in step 1 above.

4. Training "hops"
I know that due to numbers in your group, you don't really need to train every other level. Training every 4 levels seems to work fine. However, if I decide that it's time to call the night, and both summons are up, I can do the following:
Y hearths, trains skills
Z summons Y
Z hearths, trains skills
Y summons Z.
That way, Y and Z will be back where they were (in the middle of the questing field) and both have trained their latest skills. Because I'm done for the night, presumably the next time I log in, they'll both have summons again and can use 30 min hearth benefits.

I haven't really thought on how to extend this to 3 boxing, because certainly you won't have hearth every 20 mins or anything like that. But since now you can create many more level 1 toons to be summoned and stationed around the world, you can get creative and somehow build a networks of lowbies.

Seriously, I had a level 1 toon in Gromgol Base Camp and got a lot of whispers from ppl: how on earth did you get here and why?

i had meant to use RAF to seed a raid on an alliance city but didn't realize that i'd lose the summon friend at lvl 60. my plan was to stealth in at least two toons passed the guards and into a defensible room of stormwind or something, friend summon the lock, and then lock summon a whole raid of horde up in there. get a mage table down and enough rezzers and it would be very hard to dislodge your raid from some of those rooms. maybe even a repair bot if it becomes necessary to keep at it.

ideally we could capture the flight point and bring the city more or less to a halt. alliance managed this once on our server in the flight tower. must have taken us hours to get them out of there. was pretty awesome.

You can still do it with sub-60s:
Stealth two level 50+ rogues/druids, and summon a level 50+ lock too
now the lock can start summoning level 80s

During my RAF, I was boosting my Shammies in BRD. When I ran out of bullets and was low on food/water I logged out one of the shamen. A bank toon on that same account would load up with bullets and food/water in Shattrath. I'd hop out of the instance on the shaman who was on an attached account. Summoning the level 2 bank toon to bowels of Blackrock Mountain, just outside the instance saved me time and effort. How many level 2 characters can say they've been there?

How many level 2 characters can say they've been there?

My level 1 gnome warlock named "Devotee" used to live there. Back when I used to raid MC and BWL I made Devotee on my second account so that he could stand in outside the BWL entrance with me while waiting for the rest of the raid to get there. His purpose was to /yell things like "All bow before Vicker, the lord of terror! Shadows bend towards your path, oh Great One." (Vicker was my raiding lock.)

actually, I just tried again, so you can be summoned if you're level 60 or lower, but you can still summon after level 60, as long as both accounts are still linked.

So you can have 2 druids/rogues level 80 sneak in to stormwind keep, and summon a level 30 ish lock with ritual of summoning, and then the lock can summon everyone else
