Roic strat

Been thinking is it possible to do roic strat at 70 with 5 times shamans or should you wait till 80. Ive seen so many people with the bronze drake and i would love to get it on my 5 shamans. Free mounts are always a plus.

I don't think you can even enter a heroic until 78 or something anyway, but even if you could, running an 80 heroic at 70 WITH a tank would be impossible much less with 5 dps (mobs and bosses 10-12 levels higher than you means you'd run out of mana just trying to not-miss and all of them would 1 shot your guys easily), not to mention your hp would be less than half what is designed to run a heroic at 80 and your dps would be a lot less than you would need to finish it in 25 minutes.

So, the short answer is no, it wouldn't even be close to possible even if you could enter the dungeon.

edit: Not to mention 5x shaman havent cleared any heroic yet.

See im retarded lol i thought it was able to do at 70 i didnt realize it was a 80 roic but in that case do you think at 80 a grp of 5 shamans could do it or no. Or would a druid dk and 3 ele shamans do better.

At the current time I don't see any possible way for anyone to clear a heroic strat with 5 shaman because of how hard some of the enemies will hit you, and there wouldn't be enough recovery time to use your cooldowns on every pull.

Point these out, because I have only read of UKs first boss and one other(something in Drak?) being the only 2 bosses that shaman have downed. The only last boss of an instance I think shaman could take out is Drak's since he turns you into skeletons anyways. However everything else hits too damn hard to try with all shaman.

It's hard enough running normal instances with 5x shaman nevermind heroics.

I did violet hold last night, twice with 5xshaman... (at level 77). Wiped on the first boss both times.

I then switched to 80 warrior and 4x shaman. No characters died until i got to the last boss and wiped from my own fault of *ahem* not healing.

If you want to do instances, you really need a tank.

fwiw this was also true when TBC first came out, you absolutely needed a tank because trash mobs hit for ridiculously hard amounts. It slowly got nerfed, and the real power of 5x shamans came around when you were able to get s1/s2 PVP gear for honor, it had loads of resil/stam/damage and was the turning point, plus tons and tons of good badge gear trickled out. Over a year after the expansion was released though. So I'm sure over time it will be do-able, just not now.

So my best bet is to get my dk's to 80 then my shamans and my lonely druid heh. Then i can tank with death knight dps with 3 elemental shamans and heal on druid. I wonder of this would be a viable setup for roics. Since at 80 i will have 3 forms of cc from the shamans. Anyone else think that this will work. Of course my druid will far surpass the rest of my 10 characters for the simple fact hes always in a group. Although, im thinking doing a cpl runs like that and making one of my shamans resto as well. Since 25 mans come up and all i can have two forms of healing.

I must confess to never having seen 'heroic' abbreviated as 'roic' before...

Yeah and I'm not sure why anyone would even do that, its like 2 extra letters to type out heroic and I had no idea what the topic was about by reading the subject because I couldn't for the life of me figure out what a "roic" was. I thought it was an acronym like 'R.O.I.C." heh.
