I was toying with a 4 DK, Resto Shammy group for Battlegrounds.

I've liked enhancement shamans, but figured they lacked range closing abilities and so have only really played shamans as elemental.

I know they can put out some pretty good damage and wondered if It would be worth dropping 1 of the DK's for an enhancement shammy.

I figure 2 grounding totems, or two staggered tremor totems are better than 1. Having a second char that could heal in an emergency.

Do you think having the second shaman in the group would bring enough utility to cover the loss of a deathknight?

Interested in any thoughts on this.

I have decided to run two shamans for both pvp and pve but I haven't really considered going enh. If you are running a melee group anyway you might as well try it out.

Pretty sure the two tremor totems will help your DK team out a lot, the only thing I have had any problem with at all is fear.

The biggest problem I have on my shamans is that they get killed before you realize someone is attacking you. Anytime I see a shaman - they are first of my kill list, since they are an easy kill and have no "outs" such as ice block, bubble, anti magic shield, shield reflect, Dispersion, pain suppression, cloak of shadows etc...

Here's what I dont like about PvP in WoW. If you wait for the game to be balanced, then you are behind the curve in gear and will get stomped for a long time to come. If you can somehow manage to ride the first wave of gearing up it's much easier than starting later (unless you have some faceroll comp that you single box.) As a MBer if you dont get in on the ground floor and ride the pvp gear wave up then you are playing what feels like infinite catch up. I don't know how they could fix that though.
