My set up right now is two teams
3 shamans
3 rogues
ALL rogues since they are only pvp toons have alchemy transmutation mastery for procs
my shamans have
toona:inscription herbalism
toonb: alchemy tailoring
toonc: jewelcrafting
The goal is to have the jewelcrafter banking in the meta cuts.
No problems there actually working great
What i am mostly wondering since inscriptions (almost only) source of income for the future is darkmoon faire cards
Right now i am milling goldclover and tiger's lily and the icy pigments to make snowfall ink are horrific.
What have herb have you found gives the proc rate of icy pigments?
What other moneymakers could i be dedicating my time to?
Am i missing something?
Got all these great professions but honestly my outcome right now is not terffic

In the coming patch you'll be able to convert 10 Ink Of The Sea to one Snowfall Ink so it should be a bit easier for Scribes to make the Darkmoon cards...but that said, Inscription isn't much of a moneymaker until you research the most popular glyphs. Then you can make a moderate amount of money from it...but you'll see more money from other profs like LW and JC.
Cheers,
S.

Im worried about that day when Everyone has their glyphs, all three major, all three minor.
No one left needs them except for the maybe 10 or 15 new eighties every other day or so.
Those 10 to 15 are not going to be enough to fuel the market for all the incrisptionists,
The only money will really be in darkmoon faire cards?
And has your guy's server's caught on to the whole idea with armor and weapon vellum's? my sure has not.

By that logic, the enchantment market should be floundering. I trust that enough people respec and pre-80's need enough glyphs that the market won't collapse on itself. It may need a boost at some point (its still a new profession after all) but its not like the thing will be written off.

I understand where you're coming from. After a few folks powerleveled inscription on alts in our guild (including myself) we had tons and tons of glyphs taking up so much guild bank space. We ended up instituting a rule about no glyphs in the bank and only have inscriptionists make somthing on demand. But what to do with the leftover glpyhs from powerleveling? I have been selling those glyphs (from our guild bank/auction toon) ever since. Slowly, slowly whittling down the stacks. They sell for almost nothing now on Hydraxis and are pretty worthless. They're not worth the hours and hours I've spent relisting and collecting them from the mailbox over and over again. When a guildee leveled up inscription this last week and wanted to donate the glyphs, I told her no thanks.
Vellums that are full only sell if they are specific inscriptions like Mongoose. Blank ones sell pretty well (level 3 or higher) on Hydraxis though.

I don't know about you, but I upgrade my gear far more often than I respec. Gems and Enchants are going to be needed far more often than Glyphs. With everyone power leveling inscription, the profession is practically worthless on my server (fortunately if you leveled up Herbalism, it was also practically free to learn).

Vellums are awesome for enchanters. I've made ~3500-5000g selling enchanted vellums just leveling my enchanting. I've sold at least 20 enchant 2H weapon - greater savagery scrolls at 125g each, and a bundle of enchant cloak or gloves +22agi (can't remember which one) for 245g each, probably 8 of those, plus about 4 enchant shield defense scrolls at 150g each and some precision on gloves scrolls for 150g each. I could have gotten more too cause they sold fast!
