I recently dinged 80 as 5xshammies and now I'm confused which heroics to do for emblems. I found that I can farm snake boss Gundrak and first boss in UP pretty easy, but so far it is everything I can do. Keep in mind that I'm still wearing full stormhide plus few pvp epics and crafted titansteel maces. I tried also rhino boss in Gundrak and first boss in DTK, got them pretty close on first tries, so I think they can be done as 5xshammies too.
Any ideas on other easy bosses? I dont care if I have to blow all cooldowns on them, I just want my emblems.

From what I have read shaman are no good when it comes to heroic instances. I used to run 5 shaman in BC and I couldnt imagine trying the new heroics with all shaman, it would be an exercise in frustration. I'm impressed that you can take down *any* boss without a tank.

Bosses that I would think would be ok with 5 shamans (or even better than tank + 4 shamans):

Drakkari Colossus in Gun'Drak (if you use 5x earth eles and can dps down his stone form quick enough the water form doesn't really require a tank

Second boss in DTK (Novos the summoner) - hard for anyone but a tank is useless really and more DPS/healing means him going down faster and you being able to stay up through his blizzards longer

First boss in Utgarde Keep - Again, tank isn't all that useful, 5 fire eles and 5 healing stream totems would make this fairly easy I think

Not sure what else off the top of my head, but that should be a good start.

I tried so hard to go through heroics with my 5, and am able to only solo the same 2 bosses you do. Unfortunately, the rock elementals aren't even close to being useful as they were @ 70. For normal instances, I've 5 shammied everything up to, but not including occulus. I haven't even attempted that one yet. As for heroics, that's a different story. The problem is that some of the mobs and bosses can one shot anybody that is not uncritable, and even if you could reach the defense cap on one of your shammys, you'd still have no way to hold aggro.

I'm not trying to discourage you from attempting them as running 5 shammys, but rather explaining what I feel is more efficient for "Farming Emblems of Heroism as 5xShamans". This is how I do it with my 5 shammys, and I'd love to hear how others are doing it, and if there is a more efficient way.

As for 5 shamans, I gave up about a month ago and began running with 4 + a tank, and simply swapping the guy with the most emblems out each run. IMO, look for a reliable tank. I found a druid that I typically run 7+ heroics a week with, and the difference is night and day. Rather than trying to get lucky to see maybe 2-3 heroism tokens a day, i can gather a 30+/week in addition to the frozen orbs and abyss crystals (if one is an enchanter), etc. Not to mention all the dream keeper shards (so far, i've already bought the head/shoulder WG enchants, along with the mammoth on each shaman and am currently over 100 on each one.). If you already have a leatherworker, then you can craft some nice druid tanking gear and help them get started, and best of all, feral druids are uncrittable, however any other defense capped tank should work just fine.

Make sure that you look for a weekly group for both 10/25 man vault and 10/25 man sarth. Both are very easy fights to 5 box. and provide quick emblems. I found 25 man sarth to actually be the easiest of all 4.

As of right now, I can farm Gundrak, Drak'tharon, UT Keep, Nexus and Strat without any issues. I tried Azjol-Nerub when we first started, but couldn't down the last boss and haven't reattempted since. I'm sure we could do that one since our gear has improved greatly, but I don't see boxing teams having much success on Ahn'kahet due to the crazy last fight. Violet Hold is a crap shoot depending which bosses you get. I'll likely attempt Halls of stone and lightning in the near future. Halls of Lightning may prove to be impossible as I'm guessing the balls of lightning and static overload from Ionar hit a lot harder in heroic.

Good luck

I would also have to vote for bringing in a tank of some type. roll your own pally or find a friend to run with.
that being said...

I have no problems farming Drak'Tharon keep with my pally + 4 shaman, I kind of consider it the easiest instance, maybe if you just skip King.
The last boss has to be the easiest heroic boss in the whole game because 1/2 the fight is done transformed.

Yeah that guy is great.....as long as youve gto something that can survive a few seconds of damage on their own alive you can win the fight. the boss hits for hardly anything when your in a transformed state.

Yes, I think that if you put a lot of work into it you might be able to down trollgore as a 5x shaman team and then run past the next two bosses and down the final boss. You'll get some epic leather spellcaster legs and bracers for elemental shamans. If you can get it as a heroic daily, maybe you could get 4 badges out of it. It's not much, but with the current gear it might be the best you can get. Still, downing trollgore might take full buffs to pull off because he can still hit relatively hard.

Good luckActually Halls of Lighting with Loken is doable while boxing if you have enough Nature Resists. I do runs with 3 shamans (boxed) while friends play the tank & healer. With Lonar we just run back and forward and heal thru his balls of lighning and static overloard. No real issues. Loken is the big issue however the shamans put down the NR Totem and put on some NR Gear to have over 200NR and we just stand around him and burn him down. When he casts his lightning nova the shamans chain heal (twice) to assist the priest and then we continue. Using this strat we got him down and got the achievement - http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=1867

So what, you're saying that with Ionar, his lightning abilities (Ball Lightning, Static Overload, and Spark of Ionar) don't hit much harder in heroic? If that's the case, then Halls of Lightning sounds like it would be pretty easy to farm. I didn't see Loken being much of a problem, and probably easier than the last boss in Gundrak for that matter.

for loken, just before he finishes his cast on the aoe thingdo, start chain healing on all Your shamans. That way You never have to move at all. Also for Ionar You can just spread Your shamans(and Your healer friend) in all four corners of the room before where he starts, and never move, just stand there and heal, it isnt much damage to heal through.

I solo boxed HoL yesterday, last time I was in was about 2 weeks ago and I wiped a few times on Loken and gave up. This time I 1 shotted every boss, it was all ridiculously easy. I did get about 100 badges (and spent it on some gear) in those 2 weeks so I'd say definitely wait until you are geared up a bit, it makes it a lot easier.

And yeah, putting totems down in the mid on Ionar, spreading everyone out in a corner helped a lot. I still had to single-heal a few people since they dropped below 50% when Ionar disperses, but never really came close to wiping with 3x healing totems.

Loken was easy mode too, got him down in 70 seconds (achievement is 2 mins or less, got that!). Stack everyone up, have nature totem down, he takes I believe 3 seconds to cast his AoE so at 2 seconds in I start chain healing on everyone, after it goes off everyone is back to full health and I just keep DPSing. Was a joke of a fight once my guys all had 15k hp and 17k mana.

Whats funny is my gear hasn't dramatically changed, maybe gone from 1200sp to 1500sp but that extra sp, crit, and HP/int really makes a big difference. My pally also went from 22k hp to 27k and tons of dodge/parry/block and that has made a ginormous difference, its no longer an issue of "OMGOMGOMG MY TANK IS ABOUT TO DIE", i can go long periods without having to heal him.
