OK, we all hate collection quests but sometimes a quest that sounds like collecting something is just completing an action and so you get credit on all your toons.

The quest "Blood in the Water" in Icecrown asks you to fill a Gore Bladder with the blood from 10 sharks. Hoping to get credit on all my toons, I kill my first shark, target the corpse with all my toons, and hit my quest item macro button. Boom - 5/10 blood collected. I was just hoping for 1/10 on all my toons.... :-) So, that ends up being 2 sharks killed for a quick 70 gold. Be nice if they all were like this ...

This got me thinking - what's y'alls favorite multiboxing quest - something that made you say 'hell yeah, it's sweet to box".

I like the one on the Isle of Quel'Danas where you have to convert the arcane guardians. Select the broken guardian, click the assist macro and hit '\' for my Shattered Sun-and-quest-items hotkey ... and from one to five converted guardians spring up and QuestAnnouncer shouts out. It's great when other people are around to witness it.

Ooo! My other favorite is also on the Isle, the one where you need to recharge the crystals. The collection part of this quest sucks, but the actual hitting of that '\' key is like super-chain lightning! ZAP

I like the quest lines in Hellfire - great gear, easy for a group to do, quick XP. Though, I would have to say the Nessingwary quests in Nagrand are the best. They were painstakingly slow for my solo-priest when she went through. Quick, easy, lots of skinning, great xp for my paladin group. In fact, the enitre zone of Nagrand was fantastic. I wish I could level to 80 there.

200th Post FTW.

I like all the bombing type quests. My team flying in formation with the lead toon dropping bombs while all get credit is just too fun to watch. (I use Jamba which has them all mirror NPC flight interactions that the group leader chooses).

Just started figuring out which quests at the Shadow Vault (for Ebon Blade rep) are dailies, and all of those are easy. Every toon gets credit and cash for just my main doing all the work.

The Icecrown daily "Leaving Our Mark" is exaclty the same - need to plant a banner in 15 Vykrul corpses - for a 5 boxer that means 3 kills. Gold!

In fact most of the dailies in Icecrown are boxer freindly (I can only think of 4 that aren't) - which is why I am there religiously every day. :)

Hey, nice running into you there today! Was wondering when that'd happen.

Yeah, the 3 shadow vault dailies are awesome. I'm parking my 5 shammies there while I go back to leveling my DK team which is at 74.

You can get credit for multiple banners planted at the same time, as noted above. The burning of the village houses is even funnier. I realized today that you don't need to go from house to house, you can just flame one house over and over again. Takes about 30 seconds to complete. Keep four in the air nearby while I mount a drake with my main and burn em.

I haven't fully figured out how to aim the harpoon things in the quest where you need to kill the valkyr riders, but man it's fun to shoot five harpoon guns at the same time.

2 of the other 3 other Ebon Blade dailies which are near Onslaught Harbor nearby are boxer friendly. There's one where you _can_ use a vehicle-type mount to kill gryphon riders, but you don't have to. You can just stand on a tower and pwn them as they fly by. So, that's 5 out of 6 Ebon Blade dalies which are very boxer friendly.

Hey, nice running into you there today! Was wondering when that'd happen. Heh, I tossed around the idea of throwing some chain lightnings while you were hovering, but I figured there'd be a time later for that :)

Basically I just load my guys up on 5 adjacent harpoons and aim them all to roughly the same area that the middle one aims to, and nuke anything that flies through the 'death zone'. You can cover a reasonable size area and the splash damage can take out mobs on the fringe of the zone.
The good news is that in the patch, you'll only need to kill 15 instead of 20, and each harpoon will only cost 10 instead of 15 energy.

S.

Yep, that's pretty much what I do. What I meant by not having fully figured out how to aim the harpoons is that they seem to have a ridiculously limited and skewed range-of-motion. You can't aim em directly in front, or at least I can't. Just makes lining up all the guns pretty much guesswork for me.

Yea, I tried loading all 5 of my toons on a harpoon this morning and it looked like the battle for Normandy :D

I'm going to have to go with Hinterlands, I know it's not just one quest but it seems like it. Making the one big loop and ending up with 3-4 levels out of it is the best!

Actually if you're on a PvP server, you might as well bring your toons with you - reduces the chance of being ganked...being right next the The Nexus, that area sees a lot of traffic. You don't even need to dismount your alts...
